another good news in the start of 2018, i hope another good news will come about bitcoin!
yes that was a good news and good idea but if we think of it. how much amount you will lose if bitcoin will be used as payment on your purchase because the value price of bitcoin is growing little by little, whereas fiat is opposite right? although this is a big help to us because for example you do not have a pocket money pay on your purchase you can use your bitcoin as a payment.

While that's good news for bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency market, I've paid twice as much to buy Fried chicken, which doesn't sound very realistic.

I dont believe that KFC will accept bitcoin because this cryptocurrency is so volatile. We will not able to hold the price because bitcoin's value is not stable. Bitcoin is not ready for transactions like this. If bitcoin's price become volatile, That is the time that bitcoin will enable to be a mode of payment in many industries.

KFC to accept bitcoin is really a good news because it that case bitcoin will be known to more people all over the world. You dont need to convert it into your local currency because they will automatically accept bitcoin then it is really good to hear specially to those people who earn bitcoin.

Well thats really a great new because in using your bitcoin to some restaurants or fastfood chains, you still have to convert it to your local currency.KFC will will be really known after this as they are already one of the few fastfood chains that accept bitcoin.

Is that true? hmm wow a case where KFC is still a bit of a bitcoin in their restaurants. Hopefully also in this country, restaurants will accept bitcoin in our country. It is better to pay when in bitcoin than cash, often in disarray when customer fees are over. It is also better if credit, is also on bitcoin.
Hopefully all bitcoins are acceptable hope they make it a mode of payment in various forms of payment to facilitate transactions when paying. Smiley

I'm not gonna pay for fried chicken with bitcoin, period, unless I'm starving and have no fiat in my ppcket, bank, or hidden under the mattress.  I'm not exactly the definition of a hodler, but it strikes me as a big waste to buy something with bitcoin that's going to end up in the septic tank.  Makes sense, right?

The other thing is that it's totally impractical, with the outrageous fees and confirmation times. That's going to be some seriously cold chicken after 1 confirmation--and I can pay with fiat for free.
Haha good to know people still carry on with the old traditions of hiding money in the mattress.  Cheesy
Anyway I don’t think paying Bitcoin directly is a great idea where you have options to pay with fiat. People who are excited with the news to pay Bitcoin for a fried chicken and fries may be trying to copy the million dollar pizza guy. I am not telling someone to become miser but being Bitcoin spendthrift might be regretful after sometime.
I personally don’t like paying for anything whose value is supposed to depreciate nor could I afford to pay the insane fees for such like stuff.

for the txn times and prices issues there are solutions, furthermore btc is not the coin that i would use if i implement it on my fast food chain/retail store. Other than more free advertisement i dont see any advantages by these type of moves

I hope they will not get hungry waiting for hours before their transaction is confirmed. Hahaha. Maybe they can speed it up but the fees will be worth more than their lunch.

I consider this stupid news. I am not excited about this. We do not need the block space to be wasted in these types of transactions.

I read somewhere here in the forum that Mcdonald's first announce that they accept bitcoin as payment, now kfc. Its time now that foodchains started to adopt on the bitcoin world and hopefully it will become available on my country too.

I don't know if this news is hilarious or a good one. Is it good news that another shop accepts bitcoin as payment ? maybe I can just sit all day doing some bitcoin stuff and order something in KFC if I get hungry. But although this news is not that valuable for me, I wish more and more shops will start accepting bitcoin payments. Little by little, bitcoin accepting agencies are increasing.

At this stage, KFC is not accepting Bitcoin. But that day is not far away, when all franchises will be accepting cryptocurrency.

This is very good news that made the development of the Bitcoin ahead of him. Let alone who receive Bitcoin is KFC. Because KFC seems to be one of the many food companies are attractive to many people. And this is a very good idea.

This is at least a starting point, indicating that bitcoin is coming into our lives.
The closer a bitcoin is to our life, the more valuable it is.

This makes no difference and I doubt that my local KFC will be taking Bitcoin. It's weird that people get caught up in this still, who cares? It's a store of value now and I'm not going to be spending my Bitcoin on KFC. Of course they'll accept it. Who wouldn't?! I'll take Bitcoin over fiat any day.

Well this a huge step-forward for the cryptocurrency world as it now has an option to pay food using bitcoins! But are you seriously going to waste your assets for food? Let's think it this way, if an average meal at KFC is around 0.0002 btcs and the current price of bitcoin is around $13,700, you would waste a lot money if the price skyrockets in the future! As we all know, bitcoin is very volatile and its price may vary everyday. I wouldn't want my investments to be touched until it matures to my deisred level.

How about the transact fee if you only buy a $2 worth of fried chicken? then pay via BTC then $2 + transaction fee Sad
will they cover the transact fee of less to your bill?
