Very easy to do, just send them a PM (you know like you should have sent me before you robbed my money) and ask them to remove the negative feedback.

5.jtod that got his hardware and sold it here in the forum
6. One other customer with wro g shiping that got refund
7. Btcniner84 that have to deliver chips to us for assembly service.

I personally sent a few BTC to BKK for support, and purchased 100 programmed PIK's that were never rdelivered.
I understand the man had an accident, so I hope my money can help him I do not want them back.

This project was great Open source example how things have to be made and I'm sure BKK would finish it despite the Avalon failure  if he did not have a heavy accident.

Not that it will get anyone's money BTC back I left a negative trust rating on BKKCoins and sent him a message via gmail to say as much. He needs to work out a payment plan to refund everyone.

Yeah, at this point I have lost all hope of ever getting my ~2.12 BTC back.

After numerous unanswered emails and PMs, I have little confidence that Chris (Bkkcoins) is going to issue the remaining refunds. I do not believe he set out to steal anyone's money, but that is where we are now.

To those new to the thread, Chris is a Canadian expat living in Thailand, and was the creator of the Klondike K16 design. He sold boards and parts sourced from Thailand, using the site www.klondikedesign.com. Unfortunately the project fell down when Yifu Guo was late in delivering the ASIC first-gen chips. Yifu eventually issued refunds and managed to salvage what little reputation he had left. Regardless, this left many manufacturers using Chris' design in an unfortunate position.

Chris' site, www.klondikedesign.com has been up until early this year, and even took this poor guy's money long after the project had been abandoned.

On 11/20, Chris claimed to be involved in a motorcycle accident, seen here. After his recovery, he was active in the community despite his customers' pleas, emails and private messages to issue refunds. His last post can be seen here, showing a mental capacity that would not prohibit him from this task.

I'd like to start gathering information about who was granted refunds and who is still owed refunds. Personally, he owes me over 8BTC.

If you bought items from www.klondikedesign.com and were refunded (or not) by Chris, please post here.

Still no response to my PM's either. I would really like that refund...

Since questions are being asked also curious on how competitive they are compared to other designs now.

Yes, that would be nice. I haven't been pushing the issue too hard as I wanted to give him ample time to recover from his accident. I see that he was last active on 2/11 and his latest posts seem coherent enough that he could work this out. If anyone has received a refund or is owed a refund from Chris' online store, feel free to post your experience here.

Given the recent activity in the community it would be nice to be reassured there are still honest players interested in its long-term success.

I wouldn't order anything from klondikedesign.com if I were you (not sure why the store is still up...). Chris still owes me over 8BTC. Anyone hear from him lately?

No. You must use version 1.0.0 or newer board along with zipijus firmware and gen 2 Avalon chips. However I don't know if zipijus ever fixed a short circuit hidden somewhere.  I would check back through this forum to see.

i'd like to note for everyone. if using bfgminer, and overclocking you may need to adjust the cutoff temps directly in driver-klondike.c

i had the issue of them running fine at night but during the day as the air in the home warmed they would warm up, hit the 53.5 however briefly and never cooldown to 45.5 degrees needed to start mining again. and honestly 57C is quite cool by mining hardware standpoint
