This is rewarding pure speculators who have invested nothing in the product. It stinks, and it doesn't reflect well on a company that actively supports the idea.
Has KNC even announced that they are planning a quantity of 500 for the first batch? I didn't see that anywhere, just curious where that number is coming from.
Agree with this. I booked the pre-order because I'm really interested and intend to buy the actual product, while now I may have to buy early number from somebody who may have no intention/financial support to buy it at beginning? No sense this way. I may just have to focus on other companies who truly consider their actual customers.

We will open up the order books soon and give everyone a chance to pay for their preorder (7 days), We will then ship them based on the preorder registration number, not when the order was paid for
as long as the order is paid for within the 7 days we will honor the queue placement. if you pay on day 8 you will simply enter the queue from the back

if you do sell your order number all I will need is an email from both parties and I will do the rest, they will get your queue placement. it can’t however be for more than your registered amount of boxes and we will not split preorders into multiplies

So if somebody that preordered a few units but never intends to buy your merchandise will be able to sell his preorders. And a actual customer who who is willing to pay and has the money will have to wait in line. Great way to do business , even better than BFL.

The order you'll get your unit is determined by when you send them money - so... if you have not paid, then a number from a contact form doesn't have much value.

I don't think kncminer has thought this through. I bet they change this policy once they start accepting payment.
and here I thought the BFL epic saga was one for the ages... this one is shaping up to be an even more sinister plot. Part of me is still holding out hope that nothing nefarious and slimy is behind this nordic newco.

Yeah, I can understand people who've been waiting for months for BFL to get their act together getting fed up, but KnC have only been around for a little while and haven't even asked for money yet.
KnC, if you're reading this, I like the idea of giving everyone 7 days to pay for their Mars, if they want one. That's fair. Everyone who is serious about being a customer of your company commits at that time and pre-order early birds get the benefit. So leave it at that. You have far more important things to be worrying about at the moment than letting people sell their pre-order queue position. Please go and get on with making your product.

Thread is created, and KNCMINER just happens to be around to comment 26 minutes later on this thread, promising to take care of the transfers on their end, yet doesn't have time to answer simple motherfuckin' questions for over a month, citing that they're busy.
It wouldn't surprise me the least if they opt to start taking pre-order moneys prior to the meeting they've promised first, making up some damn excuse as to why such a meeting needs to be put on hold.

Out of all the motherfuckin' questions that you've been asked on this forum and have ignored, or claimed to be too busy, you take the time to post this with a promise that you'll handle it on your end via mega emails, all of which will take tremendous time.
Well, here's what I think. I fuckin' think that some of the people that will be selling their pre-orders will be you, for there's no fuckin' way we would know differently.
A couple hundred pre-orders that you control racks up to be a pretty big chunk of change.
Let's just see how many NEWBIES start posting their pre-orders for sale, all of which Sam, et al., will make time to make sure that the transaction goes smoothly.

I have an order under 100 as well.. i might take a chance with these guys.. can't be worse than the guys who bought BFLs last summer
I have some very nice low order number ( below 100) from 1st batch let me know if you are interested 
Each order allows the customer to buy up to 3 machines, this means only up to order #167 are guaranteed to get into the first batch, even if many people don't order more than 1 machine (or at all), how are you supposed to get into the first 500 batch of machines with a #530 order?

Though I do remember seeing that someone with a large order number asked about getting into batch one and supposedly you told him that it was the payment order that mattered.
