One of the most important factor of a successful gambler is to know when to stop, most gamblers expecially the addictive type don't even know what is stop when it comes to gambling. So it's very important to;
* Stop when your losing is now getting to you.

* Stop when you are now feeling as is you can't do without gambling.

* Stop when you have a big winning, by channeling the money somewhere else so you won't lose it back to gambling.

* Stop when you are not even winning at all, it's not your thing.

* When your losing is weighing you down, stop and restrategize .

It's very simple: if we make it a habit to have a gambling limit, for sure it will not lead to addiction. Of course, if we run out of gambling money, we stop immediately and come back another time. And maybe your gambling that day was not your day, and no luck landed on you.

Because if we can't control ourselves anymore, it's no wonder that eventually a gambler will become addicted to it. In fact, we can make it a habit to limit the amount we gamble, and you will become a responsible gambler for sure.

In my opinion, the points you convey are correct, they have to stop gambling when they experience what you said, especially with the third point, many gamblers cannot stop after winning, even though they only get one win at gambling. it's already difficult, and if they continue gambling, it's not certain that they will get their winnings back, because the casino could withdraw their winnings again and in the end they won't get anything. The factors that encourage them to gamble again after winning may be a feeling of dissatisfaction, greed and curiosity.

also with the fourth point, they have to stop when they don't win at all, because there are people who still gamble even though they have lost, and this happens because of their curiosity which ultimately makes them continue. gambling, also in my opinion it really depends on those who respond to gambling, because by winning they become addicted and by losing it makes them curious.
Apart from that, I don't think too much about the last point because in my opinion, if you are losing at gambling, it's better to stop.

then I would like to say that stop gambling when you want making money from gambling, stop gambling if you are chasing losses, stop gambling when you don't know yourself and finally stop gambling when you don't feel any pleasure from gambling anymore.

Hopefully a little helpful for your ideas OP so it's not always about the things that winning makes you difficult, but indeed doing self-introspection is a difficult thing for humans so they don't know when to do something to stop when it makes their brains work and only rely on ambition.

I do not know what you mean by big winning because most gamblers can not win up to that. But it is good to stop even if it is small winning already. Continuing gambling will only later likely lead to losses.

* Stop when you are not even winning at all, it's not your thing.
I do not think this is possible. If you do not have fun while gambling without thinking of the money to win, then it is not your thing. If you gamble with small amount of money many times, you will win and also lose. But if you win more than losing in some few gambling time, then it is good to stop.
