Hi what's left of the Korecoin Community!
 

Apologies for not being able to post recently.
Much much going on with my business. I had moved it but can't get a CO where I moved my main equipment to so have been setting up a temp shop to keep things going. The town is making things a bit difficult and very expensive for me. I don't have any funds right now...
Hardly been sleeping last few weeks but finally able to get back to work after a few months.
Which means I will be super busy the next few months trying to catch up.
Does not mean we have not been very active on Korecoin.
We have been in meetings near a few times a day at all hours and sometimes for hours at a time.
It's a rarity we miss a day and if so it's mainly over the weekends.

Thanks DFiLeR for keeping an eye on the thread.
 

A down payment had been sent to the Coder a few weeks ago.
We had spent about 2-3 weeks going back and forth trying to make the right decisions for the Korecoin and the Community.
Thanks for your patience and continued support!
The Coder has begun work on the Wallet.
For the amount of work and difficulty I presume it may take up to a few months for the first release.

There is 1.42744 BTC in the donation address already and 0.18472075 BTC in the old Escrow address which I donated for a total of 1.61236075 BTC minus 1.2503BTC. Leaving an available balance of: .36206075BTC
Leaving a required balance due of (1.351 - 2.092 BTC)
FYI- Their total due will be more than 2BTC since more work is being done.
Let's try to get the balance of 2BTC soon as we could just in case.

Here is my Ubuntu Linux build of KoreCoin 2.0 staking wallet (no VoIP):
Version: 64 bit Ubuntu Linux 14.04 LTS Trusty

Prerequisites (Needs boost 1.55, Berkeley db4.8++):
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:boost-latest/ppa
sudo apt-get install unzip qt4-qmake libqt4-dev build-essential libboost1.55-all-dev libssl-dev libdb4.8++-dev libminiupnpc-dev libminiupnpc8
sudo apt-get upgrade

unzip korecoin-qt.zip
chmod u+x korecoin-qt
korecoin-qt

Then exit and replace the .KoreCoin/peers.dat with the one above

Instructions

After starting the KORE wallet for the first time, close it and copy this file to your KORE wallet data folder (not the folder you run the wallet from)
Windows example C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\KoreCoin  (never delete wallet.dat from this folder... backup wallet.dat)

Rename file to just bootstrap.dat without date stamp

start wallet again and sync away
