What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Is this fair?

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

What do you think?
This is unfair to us bounty hunters, they did not inform us in the beginning and once the bounty ends they will ask a kyc which is not necessary for the bounty hunters. We are not directly putting investments into them with a little stakes and share of rewards, it's not worth for our personal information we give them for the sake of kyc.

I participate in many bounty campagins, but i never had to make an KYC process. Why should i do a KYC for bounty? KYC means Know Your Customer, and im not a customer as Bounty hunter. Im more an employee. So KYC for bounty hunters are totally unnecessary. I wouldnt participate in a bounty when theres a KYC needed. But when they announce the kyc on the end of the bounty, i would do it. Because you investet time in the bounty project and there money you will lose!

KYC is very good in my opinion, KYC can reduce bounty hunter using multi account. If you are not using multi account why be afraid to verify KYC?  Grin

Its depends on remuneration of participation in bounty campaign. KYC is not needed for small amounts by default, but team members can decide take precautions and make all people to pass KYC. Anyway, changing rules at the end of campaign is not a good action.

It is not fair to get people to do bounties without giving them the entire terms and conditions involved when it would be time to get their coins. This is shady and should not be done, it should be stated at the start of campaigns.

No, this is not fair. Bounty manager should announce that rules at the beginning of the campaign. Recently, I see many bounties participant disappointed with Syncfab ICO because the manager announced the KYC at the end of the campaign.

I don't think it is fair. AS they did not made it clear in the bounty thread that KYC will be implemented at the end of the campaign.
And they are asking for our personal data, information. And we all know that crypto works in a decentralized platform, and we enjoy working anonymous.

There were such precedents. This of course is not correct. But if you want to receive your rewards, then you have no choice but to go through the identification procedure KYC. Otherwise, your earnings will be divided into all.

I think yes, it is fair.
More and more counties now are make crypto field regulations more strictly, and in this way KYC help companies (ICOs) to scale ith compaign.
Because of this requirement more people can participate in bounty.

Can I ask which campaign you are refering to ? I've had the same problem very recently, where they decided to ask for reports+kyc after the end of the bounty, and they reduced the initial allocations by more than half...
This is very disrespectful from them imo and I will sell their tokens as soon as I can.

This is really NOT fair!!! I have been with this situation before and until now there is still no update as to how will we receive the tokens we have earned. Manager sucks. Making promises like a politician.

I believe that if project managers want verification of their investors or users, they should state this before the sale of their coins, and when it is done after raising funds, and many also ask to transfer the commission for withdrawing coins, this undermines the belief in the project itself and reduces the trust of participants.

That is very unfair and i believe those are campaigns that are actually scams anyway. Regardless, i believe these kinds of campaigns should be reported. Hopefully the moderators can take action on this. Imagine how disappointing it would be to join a campaign that asked you to post 10 times daily and at then end of a month tell you "thanks for posting but sorry, you don't qualify after all." Bullshit.

Currently, KYC become commons on bounty program. KYC on end of program maybe because bounty manager does not know about KYC. They just manage bounty program for company who hire them

What is KYC? KYC is "Know Your Customer", bounty hunters are not their customers! Bounty hunters help promote, develop communities, introduce projects ... The rules like that should be announced before the bounty campaign starts .Exactly they are not willing to paid , these projects require bounty hunters KYC , I never joined.

i basically have no problem with the kyc process if multiaccounts etc. can be excluded.
everyone benefits from this.

Nevertheless, this should be clear from the beginning and not be inserted by changing the rules.

i think its not needed to do KYC for bounty hunters, coz their not a real investor, although many of them will hold their bounty reward but many of them actually doing for only fast cash with do support and spread the word about project that their particiapted and then sell the token/coin, so i think its not necessary needed.

I've said it before, a campaign I participated in wanted me a kyc. I just do not know how trustworthy these projects are, which makes it very ridiculous, ico that bounty campaign is being given for kyc. Unfortunately we can not complain to anyone

I think KYC is good to be announce in the thread before the bounty start, Honestly in my opinion it's good to have KYC because we can avoid cheater in bounty campaign with their multiple account. But sometime i feel uncomfortable for giving my personal data to the company that i never knew before. Crypto world are anonymous but with KYC it will become not anonymous more.
