Horses on a crossing do not change. ICO rules should be spelled out at the beginning and then should not change. This is my opinion. But maybe we don't know some details. Perhaps the ICO themselves are victims of government lawlessness. Coinbase was also forced to pass data about some users retroactively. People themselves to blame. A lot of people left by the user of this exchange now. Evil must always be punished.

What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Is this fair?

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

What do you think?
In my opinion, all information should be informed right from the beginning, all the information requested later can cause trouble for members! Requirements must be carefully considered!

I would have advised to advise KYC at the beginning of the project rather than at the end of the project, because not all participants liked the KYC so I think KYC should be on the previous notification at the beginning.

I don't like to participate for such kind of bounty campaign. In my own opinion that is not necessary but since that is their rules then the thing that I can do is to not involve for their promotion.

Basically the purpose of KYC is good. This is to prevent fraud in bounty. The issue of KYC rules is stated at the end of the bounty, should be stated at the beginning so as not to cause disappointment.

I also disagree with this move. I am also not comfortable with giving my personal information and picture in the KYC. I feel like asking for it is too much just for tokens. And I also agree on your point about they should inform the people if there is going to be a KYC or not. As of now, I joined two campaigns and the announcement about KYC is always at the end of the campaign.

These companies deliberately do not report the need to pass KYC. If this had been known from the outset, at least 2/3 of the people would have given up.

If validation of KYC data is required, then these bounty threads should be announced before they begin.
Instead of waiting until the end, KYC information is required.

I do not see any bonus campaign that forces participants to KYC, usually you only KYC when you buy coins and invest in that ICO, I also participated in some signature campaigns but I got tokens not KYC, check with bounty management. Or review the potential ICO project.

There are a lot of bounty campaigns which require you to do a KYC in order to get paid. KYC for bounties is questionable, but it's the decision of the team behind the project. What's not okay, is when you announce KYC at the end of the campaign.

I agree with the idea of KYC this can stop some aubusers, I don't like the idea at the end of bounty without the notice at the start. Generally I hate when manager changes rules in the middle of the campaign.
But let's talk about kyc. They do it not to kill multiaccounts they do for law in specific Area.

This is a bad news, because it is very troublesome, but we see that more and more projects are required to do so, it also shows that it is necessary, the future meets the requirements of the law, all participants must have identity information to retain . This should be a necessary option for the future. In the long run, it is a good thing.

Understand that they want to get rid of multi-accounts, but really they often do not pay people who are bilious and keep their robot!
Here you can watch from two sides!

That's unfair to me. They should tell about that at the beginning of bounty campaigns so the bounty hunters will decide whether they want join the campaign or not. Moreover, i still don't get why bounty participant required to pass KYC ? They don't even invest in ICO.

I think this is really ridiculous and unfair for bounty participants. Their efforts need to be rewarded and participants need to be valued with clear arguments and commitments at an early stage. Unfortunately! Bounty is a job and a marketing partner in advertising strategies. But they did not make rules that fit their responsibilities.

No, it is not fair and I don't feel comfortable sharing my personal info with any crypto-currency industry member. I would not choose their bounty if they want KYC. I would not invest in their ICO if they want KYC. Crypto is about anonymity. They don't need my personal info. I don't trust any of them.

They must announce kyc before starting the bounty, some bounty hunters won't risk their personal information for a bounty and it will be so unfair if they won't reward those bounty hunters who refuse to do kyc.

Doesn't matter how you call it is fair or not. If you don't want provide your KYC, don't give it to them (I know, you will lose your bounty later).
They should have have their own reason why they decided to use KYC process through their bounty participants too

Have experienced it a few times. Got disappointed that it was only announced after bounty ended but there's nothing left to do than to comply or else all your effort in performing the tasks will be put to waste.

For my own opinion it is okay to have kyc on the end of the bounty to check if participants have different account, but another side effect of that is bounty manager s requirements for the ky was so difficult like a passport that others don't have.
