Definition: What is collateral

In addition to the stickies here, I'd like to outline some of the collaterals I will be accepting. The general rule is that you have to give a collateral 120% or more than the loan you are applying for.

By level of priority

1. Alt-coins

For this kind of collateral, the borrower must give between 120% to 150% of the total loan. For guidance, well-traded alt-coins would require less collateral value and if it is a volatile alt-coin then you have to give a total of 150%. However, I will be the sole judge whether to take the alt-coins as collateral or not. I will most probably deny alt-coins that are not in exchanges or are still in ICO status (this might change in the future if you have this then try and offer it).

When the price of the alt-coin drops to 115% of its original value in proportion to the loan amount, I will inform the borrower and he will have the option to repay the loan (still subject to the appropriate interest) and I will return the collateral. Be wary, however, that in the event the value of the alt-coins drops more than 110% of its original value in proportion to the loan amount, I hold the right to automatically sell it immediately if it drops to that level. This applies to both well-traded alt-coins and volatile alt-coins.

General guidelines if your domain can be used as collateral,
 a. Unique/rare domain names (ex. bitcoin.com, btc.com, money.com)
 b. Short domain names (2-5 letters in length including the TLD, ex. btc.io, b.tc, 99.com)
 c. Specialty domains (those domains not registerable by normal people, ex. bitcoin.gov.us)
 d. Domains that have traffic already (not fake traffic)
 e. Domains with a purpose (ex. bitcoingambling.com, btcexchanger.com, btctomoney.com)

Note: Domain names need not be related to crypto or bitcoins. Above examples are for purposes of illustration only.

REASON FOR THIS SELF-MODERATED THREAD

This new lending thread has been created to prevent spammers from destroying the thread with nonsense like what Scam Investigator did on my previous thread. Blurting out baseless accusation just because I posted on a thread he made on his alt account BipolarBob2017, which he intended to use to trick people into believing he is the real BPB. He is actually obsessed with proving BPB as a scammer that he creates his own accounts just to destroy BPB's name. Now because of the incident, I am creating this self-moderated thread.

About the concerns of people about this self-moderated thread, rest assured that this will only be intended for the purpose of keeping spammers out of the thread.

This service shall charge a 1% interest rate compounded per day. However, the basic/minimum charge shall be seven (7) days worth of interest or 0.002BTC whichever is higher. All interest fees shall be rounded to the nearest 0.0001.


1. No Collateral, No loan.
2. Non-repayment on promised date shall be deemed late. Late fee is computed as 2% of Repayment Amount or 0.0001BTC, whichever is higher, per day of being late. (Compounding still applies)
3. Extensions are upon approval, and I reserve the right to deny any extension and put necessary interest fees.
4. Three (3) Days late would result to the collateral being forfeited for the Lender.
5. At no time shall a Borrower have more than one loan with me or any other lender.
6. Escrow is accepted, the Borrower pays for the fees.
7. The Lender will not be liable for any loss incurred by any party through this agreement. How you will use the amount loaned shall be your own liability.
8. I do not care about the reason for the loan or your sob story. Pay me what you owe me when the time comes. Do not tell me you lost everything on gambling or you did not get the returns you were expecting.


Collateral can be anything digital that I can secure. Generally, you should first think what can I offer as collateral other than your BCT account. If none, then offer your BCT account. I only accept accounts that are SR. MEMBER, HERO and LEGENDARY nowadays. I can accept Full Member and below if it has good trust rating.

In the event the Borrower pays the the debt, the collateral shall be returned.

In the event, the Borrower does not repay on the due date, and no extension has been given, he shall be given three days to comply. If he does not, the Lender will open a scam report, broadcast non-payment, and publish a negative trust regarding the matter. Further, the collateral shall be forfeited for the Lender. If the collateral can be sold at a higher price than the loan amount, the excess shall be for the benefit of the Lender, and no amount of said excess shall be returned to Borrower.
