I would be happy if Bilbao made it difficult for Barcelona to win and even if Bilbao could, indeed I would be very proud. In this match Barcelona is definitely superior, but Bilbao is always a surprise member in the match.

I think it will be a tight match given that Bilbao is at home. I am predicting that Barcelona will win with a one goal Margin. Most like 0-1 or 1-2.
But it's very good to know that the long wait is almost over and it's now time to witness how the new signings will perform for the each of the top flight clubs in La Liga

If Barcelona made a mistake and lost points in the inaugural match this season, you know what impact the club will feel that they will get ridicule from rival clubs and Barcelona will not let that happen. let's enjoy the match later.

Anyways, Bilbao vs Barca. Athletic Bilbao last 5 games in all competitions vs Barcelona: 0W 2D 3L. Only one win in the last 10 games, so chances of Bilbao beating Barcelona tomorrow are pretty low. It's worth mentioning that this is the first time since 2015 that Barcelona plays Away in their first game of the league...And who was the home team back then? You guessed it, Athletic Bilbao, game ended 0-1.

For this game, i'm thinking maybe Barcelona ML and over 2.5.

I'm excited for the Bilbao v Barca game, but that's mostly just down to my interest in seeing how the forwards will line up for Barca. I'm assuming it's going to be Suarez, Griezman and Dembele for the first game due to Messi's injury, but there's been some discussion about fielding 2 instead of 3 forwards with an extended midfield.

Either way I'm expecting goals-a-plenty so I'll be going with Total goals: Over 2.5 (1.80).

I think that those are just Rumors. What would be the reason for that as we didn't even the season yet?
Real acquired some players in this transfer window so it is not a case that Zidane complains about not getting any players.
Of course, if he won't win La Liga he will possibly be sacked but there is a lot way to go till then.

Didn't heard until now and after checking I can only say it is pretty much likely. Zidane came back after having assurance that his side will be taken into notice in transfer cases but seems like Perez is doing things on his own.

They still have some time left before transfer deadline is hit. Hope that Real Madrid also doesn't plans on losing a good manager like Zidane and will definitely hear him out also.

Reports say that Zidane wants to go for Pogba but I doubt that ManU will let him go? Any thoughts?

Vinicius lacks experience but at this point if he can tuck the ball in which Benzema hasn't been able to do so far when opportunities came then switching him to that position would be good.

Benzema was doing good before the injuries. After injuries he had scored in two occasions only - hat-trick against Fenerbahce and a goal against Atletico.

Many people here seem to rate bad benzema performance, so am I. Real Madrid should really need that, I have seen benzema in recent years indeed lack in scoring goals. If there are no new strikers for Madrid, I don't think Real Madrid will win the league or any other European competition.

Real needs Benzema to be on good form and score a lot of goals otherwise they are going to have a problem. They have Vinicious i think he is a good player that can substitute Benzema in matches that the French player seems incapable of scoring.

Benzema can not do much for several seasons on the front lines. Indeed, Real Madrid should have a striker like a predator. Vinicious is also only as a coating of benzema, this is what makes Real Madrid sometimes difficult to score because benzema is lacking in performance.

I don’t think Neymar is going anywhere in this transfer window, his transfer fee is so high. Real bought big already with Hazard & Barca signed Griezmann. I don’t think anybody else can sign Neymar, Man City are having trouble with FFP & the transfer window is shut in England now.

They did but I actually meant someone as a good alternative for Benzema's place. Hazard actually doesn't likes to play as striker so him playing at Benzema's position doesn't seems like a possibility. So Real madrid can either find an alternative or hope for Benzema to come back to his original form.

I don't think Neymar will be coming to Real especially there are signs of him to be back at Barcelona after Neymar lawyers were spotted at Camp Nou.

I know people will just think it's just Pre-season games but this pretty much gives a picture of how Real Madrid's season is going to be.
They have been conceding a lot of useless goals in the last few games yet nothing much has been done to strengthen the defense and defensive Midfielder Areas.

Players seem to be disorganised in all avenues and Midfield maestros Modric and Kroos seem to be on the decline probably due to age. Other players who would have acted as good back ups like James and Bale seem to be unhappy because they already know what Zidane thinks of them. Best this would have been to just sell them and get some new players.

I expect more of the same poor result through the season
