I think he deserved this punishment. I know the goalkeeper was angry before Vini JR. Vini JR should have thought about his team and played professionally. Maybe even if they lost, the biggest price of the defeat would have been that red card. Ancelotti will defend his own player and say that, so it doesn't matter what he says.

Even if Ancelotti hadn't won the match, Real Madrid might have blamed Vini JR, or maybe they wouldn't have blamed him, but I'm sure this red card would have been talked about more.

Vinicius junior has a temper but I don't think his reaction needs that much of a punishment. Vinicius junior is already frustrated after he got denied the Ballon d'or after the incredible season that he was on last season to win the champions league and other trophies. But there isn't much challenges since Real Madrid can still play better and win games without the presence of Vinicius junior as they have other capable players that can step up to be the hero. The red card was deserved as he wasn't professional with his action but he shouldn't be over punished when a lesser punishment can be given to him. Ancelotti doesn't agree as he thinks it was a yellow card offends not red.

By the way, whatever has happened cannot be repeated and like it or not, Vinicius and Real Madrid will have to accept the consequences. Vinicius fouls and he will face sanctions, while Real Madrid will have to lose one of their most important players from the squad for some time. Vinicius is a player who is sometimes humorous and also emotional and I think that is a difficult character to change.

Real Madrid may need to talk to him so that in the future Vinicius doesn't repeat the same problem. I agree, to be honest, Kylian Mbappe is getting better with time but I still don't expect him to come put as the highest goalscorer simply because he is still trying to settle down at  Real Madrid but depending on how well he performs this season, if he continues getting I think he will be the top scorer next season.

Although Lewandowski is currently passing him with six goals and he will have to continue with his goal scoring form because I still think it's too early to think no one may get to him and this don't necessarily mean it's about Mbappe only.

Coming back from the game with just ten players is a commendable one for Real Madrid. At least the red card received by Vinicius Junior won’t be used again flat them in the end of the match today. He should try and do better in the coming games to avoid such red cards in vital matches like this. This is not the first time the issue of Vinicius Junior is been raised about his misconduct in the pitch and how he easily reacts to his emotions when angry in the field of play. I can remember even during the last Balon d’Or ceremony, a lot of criticism against him was because of his behaviour in the pitch even though some people still do not see it as enough reason to deny him the award. He is proving it once again by this punishable act once again. He is a talented young player and when suspended will affect the whole team and not only him. He should try and be controlling his anger more often than before.

In the last few seasons we have seen Barcelona and Real Madrid fighting for the title. However, this season Atletico Madrid is in good form. As a result, Atletico Madrid is fighting hard for the title. Real Madrid is currently at the top of the La Liga table. However, if Atletico Madrid can win their upcoming match, Atletico Madrid will occupy the top spot of the table. La Liga has become more crowded this season. If Atletico Madrid wins their missing match, they will be at the top of the league right now. They have a two-point difference with Real Madrid and they have missing matches. But whatever Vini is if he wants to be a great player he has to change. I don't understand the kind of protection you mean. Aside from the racist chant from fans (which I totally condemn), there is nothing that is done to Vini on the pitch that other good dribbles and wingers don't suffer. We saw the treatment Messi got from even Madrid legends, Ramos, Pepe, Alonso, Casemiro and lots more. We saw how Neymar was man handled on the pitch, Hazard also got the same treatment. This is very normal, but with Vini, he asks like nobody should touch him when he's on the ball and that would not happen. He can only get angry when foul plays are not called.

Speaking of racism, not a single player has used racist slurs on Vini, it mostly the fans (which is wrong), so his major problem coms when he's being fouled and that is something that happens in football. 
Vini needs to keep his emotions in check. If not for Rudiger, he was ready to fight the referee after he was shown a red card, he should be punished severely for that too because we've seen players get suspended for much less than what he did.

I agree with you about racism needing to be condemned in any sport including football. But sometimes this is unavoidable due to the overreaction of the player in question. I once saw Vinicius cry because of a case of racism he received, of course this is very unfortunate and anyone who does it must be punished. But in certain situations, fans' reactions to expressing their emotions with racism also have something to do with the players themselves.

It was a big loss for Real Madrid when they lost one of their best players in several important matches. Vinicius is needed in Ancelotti's game plan, but because he has to be absent due to suspension, Ancelotti really needs to get a suitable replacement so that the team's performance does not change.

Vinicius was lucky to win the match against Real Madrid. If Real Madrid had not won the match and lost, I am sure the player would have received a lot of criticism in Brazil. I think he should thank Bellingham because he prevented all criticism that could have come to him with a last minute goal. Real Madrid is a very big team and they showed us their greatness by seeing them come back with ten men once again. It was a really enjoyable last minute match.

Vinicius Jr should be checked properly because the character is playing out of line. He's portraying touchable aggressive behaviors that are unwanted on the pitch and we know such behavior doesn't pull down players over the past years.

A lot of Real Madrid fans are trying to justify what Vini did by showing how goalkeeper grabbed Vini's shirt and tried to pull him up, and yes that's an aggressive move too, and maybe the goalkeeper should have seen a yellow card for it, but the response to grabbing your shirt, isn't punching someone's face, that is totally unbalanced move and not what it was in return.

I mean if Vini just grabbed goalkeepers shirt back, or simply just shoved him on the chest or something slowly, like as a response, then I would say it was equal moves to each other, but Vini literally slaps the face or whatever you call that in English, "shove the face?" not sure what's that called. So yeah, he needs to be punished, and Real fans are just biased about it. This isn't just to punish Vini, this is to teach him a lesson, if he can learn that he can't keep doing this or he will be punished heavily, then he will maybe learn to behave better. Otherwise, if he is not punished, he would just continue to do what he always does.

Yeah it’s midpoint, but Barcelona is still in the game, 6 points can be covered with just two games flop from the team ahead ( Realmadrid, Barcelona), providing they have no flop as well(Barcelona).
But currently, I don’t think Realmadrid is ready to drop any point and so is Athletico yet time will tell :)but Barcelona performance is yet to be concluded judging with their last game but it was against a weak team , let’s see how they pull up in their next three games as it will determine whether they are still in the game , if they flop then they will be dropping more point which my accumulate upto 10+ behind( they are simply cooked right there )

Some people blame Vinicius in this case, while others blame Valencia players and fans. I support Vinicius to fight racism because it is very unhealthy for sporting events, but I don't like the way he takes everything emotionally. All players are ordinary people, but they must have good emotional control regardless of whatever situation occurs.

There are many other players who have received racist attacks from opposing supporters, but I don't think they need to express their emotions. Vinicius sometimes likes to provoke opposing team fans with his body movements or whatever, but when he gets provoked it seems as if someone else is to blame.
