Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior risks a suspension of four to 12 matches for pushing the opposing team's goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski during the 79th minute of the La Liga match against Valencia, which ended 2-1 at the Mestella. after the incident, the Brazilian player was sent off. According to Spanish La Liga regulations, such aggressive behaviour without an attempt to play the ball is punishable by suspension.
according to spanish language media outlet Mundo deportivo, Vinicius will likely receive the minimum penalty of four matches.
this could exclude him from participating in the supercopa de Espana semifinal against Mallorca, and if they advance to the final, he may miss the match against Barcelona or athletic Bbilbao.

Vinicius junior has a temper but I don't think his reaction needs that much of a punishment. Vinicius junior is already frustrated after he got denied the Ballon d'or after the incredible season that he was on last season to win the champions league and other trophies. But there isn't much challenges since Real Madrid can still play better and win games without the presence of Vinicius junior as they have other capable players that can step up to be the hero. The red card was deserved as he wasn't professional with his action but he shouldn't be over punished when a lesser punishment can be given to him. Ancelotti doesn't agree as he thinks it was a yellow card offends not red.
I think he deserved this punishment. I know the goalkeeper was angry before Vini JR. Vini JR should have thought about his team and played professionally. Maybe even if they lost, the biggest price of the defeat would have been that red card. Ancelotti will defend his own player and say that, so it doesn't matter what he says.

Even if Ancelotti hadn't won the match, Real Madrid might have blamed Vini JR, or maybe they wouldn't have blamed him, but I'm sure this red card would have been talked about more.

Of course, when a player gets a red card, the whole team will get the impact. It was lucky that Real Madrid still could win the match. Usually a team has no chance to win the match anymore when they only play with 10 players in the field. Sure, it is unnecessary behavior, Vini must get the lesson about how to control his emotion.

Indeed, he is one of a very skillful player but he sometimes showed bad attitude. A player must have good attitude if he want to have a good career in football. If he can't control his emotion, he may have the same fate as Mario Balotelli. Balotelli was one of great young players as well, but he failed to be a star player because of bad attitude.
By the way, whatever has happened cannot be repeated and like it or not, Vinicius and Real Madrid will have to accept the consequences. Vinicius fouls and he will face sanctions, while Real Madrid will have to lose one of their most important players from the squad for some time. Vinicius is a player who is sometimes humorous and also emotional and I think that is a difficult character to change.

Real Madrid may need to talk to him so that in the future Vinicius doesn't repeat the same problem. He deserves respect and justice, but I do not condone the mistakes he made to the detriment of his own team. Losing him due to injury or dispensation is something detrimental, even Ancelotti might have difficulty finding the right players to make Real Madrid appear as consistent as before.

I agree. Since Hans flick appointment as the head coach of Barcelona he has transformed the team. We have seen Lewandowski and Raphinha flourish under his management. While their Real Madrid counterpart Vinicus junior goal contribution to the club has been poor because of injury problems. Kylian Mbappe is finding it difficult to adapt to a more demanding team. It may be taking long but when it finally clicks you can expect Mbappe to win a Golden boot in Spain.

If Lewandowski doesn't have a major injury, I think he will be the top scorer in the Spanish league. Mbappe may be a good player, but he has fallen far short of expectations this year. He is not successful in Spain or the Champions League. Normally, expectations were higher for him. Unfortunately, he wastes many positions selfishly in Real Madrid.
I agree, to be honest, Kylian Mbappe is getting better with time but I still don't expect him to come put as the highest goalscorer simply because he is still trying to settle down at  Real Madrid but depending on how well he performs this season, if he continues getting I think he will be the top scorer next season.

Although Lewandowski is currently passing him with six goals and he will have to continue with his goal scoring form because I still think it's too early to think no one may get to him and this don't necessarily mean it's about Mbappe only.

Vinicius was lucky to win the match against Real Madrid. If Real Madrid had not won the match and lost, I am sure the player would have received a lot of criticism in Brazil. I think he should thank Bellingham because he prevented all criticism that could have come to him with a last minute goal. Real Madrid is a very big team and they showed us their greatness by seeing them come back with ten men once again. It was a really enjoyable last minute match.

Coming back from the game with just ten players is a commendable one for Real Madrid. At least the red card received by Vinicius Junior won’t be used again flat them in the end of the match today. He should try and do better in the coming games to avoid such red cards in vital matches like this. All thanks to the team members and not only Bellingham for coming up with the last minute goals to triumph the team.

What Vinicius Junior did really reflected excessive bad emotions to his own detriment, not only that, the club was affected by what Vinicius Junior did. Of course this cannot be ignored, he must change immediately, controlling emotions is important so as not to be easily provoked by the opposing team.

To be honest Vinicius Junior is one of the talented players, his skills and abilities on the pitch are unquestionable, if only he could control his emotions, it would be better for him as well as for the club.

This is not the first time the issue of Vinicius Junior is been raised about his misconduct in the pitch and how he easily reacts to his emotions when angry in the field of play. I can remember even during the last Balon d’Or ceremony, a lot of criticism against him was because of his behaviour in the pitch even though some people still do not see it as enough reason to deny him the award. He is proving it once again by this punishable act once again. He is a talented young player and when suspended will affect the whole team and not only him. He should try and be controlling his anger more often than before.

If Atletico Madrid wins their missing match, they will be at the top of the league right now. They have a two-point difference with Real Madrid and they have missing matches. The general ranking will be clear after these matches. However, it is certain that the excitement in the Spanish League will probably continue until the end of the season. We can watch a championship race between three teams.

In the last few seasons we have seen Barcelona and Real Madrid fighting for the title. However, this season Atletico Madrid is in good form. As a result, Atletico Madrid is fighting hard for the title. Real Madrid is currently at the top of the La Liga table. However, if Atletico Madrid can win their upcoming match, Atletico Madrid will occupy the top spot of the table. La Liga has become more crowded this season. Although Barcelona has been at the top of the table for a long time, the team is behind at the moment. However, Barcelona will not give up. Barcelona will continue their efforts till the end to occupy the top spot of the table.

He wouldn't get any criticism and I have some validation to prove.
Remember that match was round 12, it was a pending match that was supposed to have been played but because of flood, it was postponed and I remember Vinicious made some tweets to pay condolences to the city and the players from the city. Now, what that goalkeeper did was not fair, unprofessional in my opinion but Vinicious mistake was taking the revenge too extreme but that doesn't mean the goalkeeper wasn't at fault, Spanish teams aren't nice with that guy, very similar to last season.

Whether Vinicious was present or not, the team would have won that match, the only thing that delay their goals was because Valencia was playing offensive match and defending the same time and Real Madrid was been too careful but they were active. What Bellingham did was what another player among the team would have done either. The team congestion of players was my problem, too much of them isn't healthy. Bellingham, Mbape, Rodrigo and Vinicious.

Atletico Madrid this season is indeed trying to reach the top of the standings when seeing Madrid initially having a bad time in several previous matches and ATM hope to try to find a way to catch up on those points. But when ATM started to improve, Barcelona experienced a decline in performance and ended up Atletico Madrid having to be in second place which gave them stronger confidence.
If the ATM points gap with Barcelona gets further and Barcelona performs badly again, I'm afraid Barcelona will fail to win the title this season. Even though Barcelona started the season very well.
But if this is related to financial shortcomings, I have to be able to understand the results.

Atlético Madrid will be able to go to the top of the table because they have a chance of winning the game against Osasuna, so definitely they are sure of 3 points, which means they will be at the top of the table. So to me, I don’t think Atlético Madrid will have a lot to border on, but for Barcelona, I don’t think they will be able to make it to the top of the table again. They will have to put in more effort and be more consistent so that they will have a chance if Atlético Madrid or Real Madrid lose their form.
Currently real madrid is on the top of the table. If Atlatico Madrid has won their match against Osasuna, they will definitely go to the top position. I don't think so Atlatico madrid will stay strong and consistent until the last match. Real Madrid is in serious mode they are trying hard to catch them in every possible chance and we can clearly see it. Thier difference with real Madrid are only one point and If they make even a small mistake and lose or draw the match, Real Madrid will occupy the top position and after that Real Madrid will not give up until they win the league title. Real Madrid is hungry to win the trophy again and again they never give up and they are always ready to fight hard whether it's in the Champion league competition or La Liga race. They always love to win the title.

What Vinicius Junior did really reflected excessive bad emotions to his own detriment, not only that, the club was affected by what Vinicius Junior did. Of course this cannot be ignored, he must change immediately, controlling emotions is important so as not to be easily provoked by the opposing team.

Of course Vinicius Junior needs to be admonish of his temperament because it was not a habit he suddenly started it has been there since he started his career if they show you some of his highlights in regards to those incidents you will see how serious he has been and more aggressive because I no that some other players normally retaliates by either warning their opponent but not to the extent of dragging or pushing his opponent, though I no that he wasn't at fault but considering what the action could cause is not worth doing because if the referee sees such aggressiveness in a negative way he may not care if he is not at fault or not and flash a red card on him. However Suarez was also like that before but later learn how to control his anger.
But whatever Vini is if he wants to be a great player he has to change. Vini has to learn a lot and has to follow CR7's example, when he is provoked by his opponent but he does not vent it by pushing the enemy, but vents his emotions by scoring goals, that's what CR7 always does when his emotions are provoked.

This is very different from Vini when he is provoked by his opponent, he is very easily provoked emotionally so that it harms the team due to a red card. Luckily in this match Real Madrid won, and luckily Real Madrid also has a player with character like Bellingham. It must be admitted that he has a great character when he failed to take a penalty kick and his team played with 10 players, but he got up and made an assist and scored a goal in the final minutes, of course this is very impressive from a player like Jude.

Vini if he can control his emotions is an extraordinary player, but his biggest weakness is that he is less able to control his emotions so that he often troubles Real Madrid itself. If not changed, it could affect his future performances if this continues to happen and I think this is the reason he failed to win the 2024 Ballon d'Or.

I agree with you on Vini Junior controlling his temper and reacting all the time but from another stand point, shouldn't he be protected from unnecessary aggregations from the opponent and their fans? The ref even went to VAR saw happened initially and only decided to punish Vini with a red card and nothing for the goalie. For every action there's an equal and opposite reaction. If the league management can set up possible penalties or punishment for both the aggressor and the aggressed (that's if he retaliates) because the refs can't continue only punishing the aggressed after retaliating almost all the time.
Its sickening to me seeing only one player getting punished for an incident that was started by another player.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with what the Valencia keeper did to Vini. That is what we see in football every time. A player falls to the ground and demands a penalty, the opponent players go to his face and shout at him to get up and stop whining, some even pull him up and they have a slight or heated argument over it and move on. It happens in almost every heated match. The same scenario happened between that same goal keeper and Gavi when Gavi was asking for a penalty and the keeper pulled his shirt and asked him to stand up, Gavi got angry at him and charged but never used his fist.

In Vini's case, he hit the keeper on the head, that's a penalty anytime time of the day. The referee needed a VAR review to see what Vini did because he wasn't paying attention to that.
I don't understand the kind of protection you mean. Aside from the racist chant from fans (which I totally condemn), there is nothing that is done to Vini on the pitch that other good dribbles and wingers don't suffer. We saw the treatment Messi got from even Madrid legends, Ramos, Pepe, Alonso, Casemiro and lots more. We saw how Neymar was man handled on the pitch, Hazard also got the same treatment. This is very normal, but with Vini, he asks like nobody should touch him when he's on the ball and that would not happen. He can only get angry when foul plays are not called.

Speaking of racism, not a single player has used racist slurs on Vini, it mostly the fans (which is wrong), so his major problem coms when he's being fouled and that is something that happens in football.
Vini needs to keep his emotions in check. If not for Rudiger, he was ready to fight the referee after he was shown a red card, he should be punished severely for that too because we've seen players get suspended for much less than what he did.

Because in the end both parties have a situation that is not justified. For the Valencia fans and the players their provocation was a little too much especially when mentioning the issue of racism which in the end this actually makes the image of football bad if it is too normalized so clearly we do not support things like this even racism must be denounced so that football is not destroyed in terms of reputation just because of treatment that does not reflect this.

But on the other hand what Vini did also I think we can't take this as the truth even though indeed this is a reaction that arises because of uncomfortable treatment but in the end doing everything emotionally and not being able to control it properly in the end it also affects the long term in terms of the career he has. He's a pretty good player and has a lot of potential but when his temper can't be controlled it can only worsen his professional career so this should be an evaluation for Vini because he's acting not as an individual on the pitch but as a player for a big club.
I agree with you about racism needing to be condemned in any sport including football. But sometimes this is unavoidable due to the overreaction of the player in question. I once saw Vinicius cry because of a case of racism he received, of course this is very unfortunate and anyone who does it must be punished. But in certain situations, fans' reactions to expressing their emotions with racism also have something to do with the players themselves.

It was a big loss for Real Madrid when they lost one of their best players in several important matches. Vinicius is needed in Ancelotti's game plan, but because he has to be absent due to suspension, Ancelotti really needs to get a suitable replacement so that the team's performance does not change.

Lewandowski has indeed performed well this season, scoring goals in almost every match he has played so far and now he has collected the most goals among other goal scorers and the gap is also quite far, while Mbappe and Vinicius Jr are already quite far behind, I am not sure they are able to catch up with the number of goals achieved by Lewandowski, if there is no injury or decline in Lewandowski's performance, I am sure he will be the top scorer this season.
Hansi Flick has brought a lot of improvement to Barcelona, their goal productivity so far has reached 51 goals, Lewandowski and Raphina contributed half of it. Vinicius was disturbed by injury, so it is natural that his current goal tally is still half of Lewandowski. Meanwhile, Mbappe, many still assume that the former PSG striker needs more time to appear fertile in Real Madrid front line. However, the 10 goals that have been frozen, indicate that he has improved since joining Real Madrid. Lewandowski chances of becoming La Liga top scorer this season are wide open, but what is more important than individual awards is helping his team return to the top of the standings.

Some people blame Vinicius in this case, while others blame Valencia players and fans. I support Vinicius to fight racism because it is very unhealthy for sporting events, but I don't like the way he takes everything emotionally. All players are ordinary people, but they must have good emotional control regardless of whatever situation occurs.

There are many other players who have received racist attacks from opposing supporters, but I don't think they need to express their emotions. Vinicius sometimes likes to provoke opposing team fans with his body movements or whatever, but when he gets provoked it seems as if someone else is to blame. He must also be aware of what he has done so far and I will not defend what is wrong.

Talent ia different from behavior on the pitch. Not only Vinicius Jr, there are quite other categories and vast numbers of players that can't composed themselves on the pitch, these players needs to be extremely caution. The authorities will play fairly and the team have made an appeal because they're at fault. Carlo Ancelotti will deal with the situation on ground because scene like this are bent on ruining his reputation in Santiago Bernabéu. Real Madrid can do better without Vinicius Junior because they're elite team and capable of smashing big winnings without hesitation. Vinicius Jr should be checked properly because the character is playing out of line. He's portraying touchable aggressive behaviors that are unwanted on the pitch and we know such behavior doesn't pull down players over the past years.

A lot of Real Madrid fans are trying to justify what Vini did by showing how goalkeeper grabbed Vini's shirt and tried to pull him up, and yes that's an aggressive move too, and maybe the goalkeeper should have seen a yellow card for it, but the response to grabbing your shirt, isn't punching someone's face, that is totally unbalanced move and not what it was in return.

I mean if Vini just grabbed goalkeepers shirt back, or simply just shoved him on the chest or something slowly, like as a response, then I would say it was equal moves to each other, but Vini literally slaps the face or whatever you call that in English, "shove the face?" not sure what's that called. So yeah, he needs to be punished, and Real fans are just biased about it. This isn't just to punish Vini, this is to teach him a lesson, if he can learn that he can't keep doing this or he will be punished heavily, then he will maybe learn to behave better. Otherwise, if he is not punished, he would just continue to do what he always does.

The La Liga season has reached its midpoint and Real Madrid has topped the table by now, while Barcelona, which was in their place until recently, is already 5 points behind Real Madrid. Their more realistic competitor now will be Atletico, because Barcelona has many problems in the new season, which are the result of financial problems, while Atletico is doing well, they have a good defense and an excellent attack, especially since they can potentially overtake Real Madrid.
Yeah it’s midpoint, but Barcelona is still in the game, 6 points can be covered with just two games flop from the team ahead ( Realmadrid, Barcelona), providing they have no flop as well(Barcelona).
But currently, I don’t think Realmadrid is ready to drop any point and so is Athletico yet time will tell :)but Barcelona performance is yet to be concluded judging with their last game but it was against a weak team , let’s see how they pull up in their next three games as it will determine whether they are still in the game , if they flop then they will be dropping more point which my accumulate upto 10+ behind( they are simply cooked right there )

I think Vini is a normal human who will get emotional when received provocation from goal keeper. He have chance to create a score, but can't finish it smoothly. a normal human should be regret, and and will certainly be more temper when got provocation to quickly stand up by goal keeper. He not only received that provocation, but the valencia supporter also mocking him during the match. I don't why Vini got that situation. Maybe because he was taunting celebration when create a goal before, and pointing a finger at the plague which implies that Valencia will be relegated.
