A miracle might not be the right word because last season we saw how much the drawings can do for teams that are not playing that well, but they are lucky enough to play against some of the "weaker" opponents in the Champions League.

I completely agree that it would be unexpected if Barcelona shows up in the semifinals of the Champions League. However, Barcelona could get lucky, win the game game against Napoli (or the aggregate of the two games) and then get Dortmund/Eindhoven or PSG/Sociedad or Porto/Arsenal. I think against these teams they would at least have a chance to win the quarterfinals, which then would make them reach the semifinals. It would still not be a miracle, but it would definitely be one if they face Manchester City/Real Madrid/Bayern Munich.

They lost, even though in La Liga they were better than Celta Vigo, but in the Copa del Rey they didn't do anything to win.
They didn't play badly, but Celta Vigo were more successful in pressing and turning chances into goals. Valencia only managed one goal and that was from the spot in the first half.
Despite the pressure, Celta Vigo managed to come out and take advantage of the situation. If they can play like this every week, I think they will be able to get a better position in the La Liga standings. But yes, the problem is when they cannot have good stability so that every week their game is unpredictable.

I find this one very difficult to predict. The Copa del Rey is very prestigious and none of teams would accept to give this title away easily and the stats that were quoted here are quite insightful. I think Real Madrid is the team with higher quality, but if it is one of those days then I think Atletico Madrid can play the fiercest they can and that would be a real highlight to watch, a true battle between those two rivals. In 90 minutes I think it is quite possible it will end in a draw, but if I had to pick a final winner I would pick Real Madrid here. It's like they have a little advantage over Atletico.

Looking at the performance of the two teams lately they appear to be in their best form so far but playing at home for ATM is also a good advantage sinve they will have moat of them fans to cheer them up for victory against the big boys Real Madrid. Real Madrid last performance against FC Barcelona in the super cup for breath taking as Vini Junior became too hot for the defense of Barcelona to handle but in the game against ATM today, I see a different performance taking place as the home team has a better defensive line than Barcelona so they will surely have something to prove in the game. It's not going to be an easy game for both teams rating their past history but I think the game will end in a 1:1 or 2:2 draw because right now Real Madrid should be a little tired after their game against Barcelona.

Real Madrid wants to win all the trophies and plays its game accordingly. They are improving themselves more every match. Real Madrid's players are in great form and this allows them to win matches more easily.

Especially at the beginning of the match, we see Real Madrid trying to impose its superiority on the opponent. They manage to do this and score early goals. I think this is one of the things Real Madrid did best this year.

Atletico Madrid is a good team, but they are not at the level of Real Madrid and my favorite in this match is Real Madrid. As I said, Real Madrid wants to win all the trophies and plays its game accordingly. They have played very good football so far.

According to this record both teams have had so far this season, I am sure one of them, particularly Atletico Madrid, will have a different result today. This is because Real Madrid is a team that is focused on winning almost all the trophies this season, including cups. I don't think they will allow Atletico Madrid to beat them even though they will be playing at home, because statistically, Real Madrid should be considered favorites because they have a good winning ratio against Atletico Madrid overall, but that is not a guarantee for Real Madrid because anything can happen.

Last season Madrid won the Copa del Rey title and this season I am sure they will make it to the final or win it again, especially seeing that the strength of the main squad this season is much better than last season of course the meeting against Atletico Madrid today in the round of 16 will probably be a tough opponent for Madrid, but it seems Ancelotti doesn't want his team to be defeated in this match, Ancelotti will definitely field some of his best players today to face Atletico Madrid and also use his best strategy.

Diego Simeone will of course put pressure on his players to be able to play as optimally as possible or make it difficult for Madrid to win against them because what we know previously is that Atletico Madrid also beat Madrid in the Spanish league in their previous meeting in the Spanish league, that's why they certainly already know how to face Madrid. Ancelotti certainly knows that and will still learn from previous defeats to be able to perform better today.

This meeting should be a place for the Whites to take revenge for their defeat in their previous meeting. I am sure Madrid will win dramatically today even though they only won narrowly and maybe there will be lots of goals scored today.

I don't think Sergio Busquets not being in Barcelona is actually that big of a problem. The actual problem is Barcelona not managing their money perfectly. Because if Barcelona had the same level of money that Real Madrid has right now, this situation would have been very different. Imagine if  Madrid and Barcelona had the same level of money right now, Barcelona definitely was going to bring in another player in place of Sergio Busquets. Someone like Casemiro. But Barcelona cannot afford to do that right now. Barcelona cannot even register players that they have already acquired because of the budget problem.

But anyway, if Xavi has actually done something like scaring the players, it was definitely unprofessional from him. It does not matter how much he loves Barcelona, he cannot do that as the coach.

Madrid's level of performance on the pitch is very much certain to earn them the Spanish Cup trophy. They delivered a good victory against Atletico Madrid and are unceasingly seeming promising too. Their rival at the finals would always be Barcelona and whichever way they come, they'd always be the victorious team, it's going to be  lovely El Classico final and my support goes to Madrid cause I feel that, based on performance this season they're better than Barca.

 Barcelona themselves aren't performing near to the rate of Madrid's and so it's certain that there may be no hope for them again. Real Madrid won't take it easy on them and sternly would want to earn the trophy to themselves this season. Their performances this season have been good and top notch too and their progress shouldn't be surprising.

Valencia is currently not a great team in terms of its squad is less qualified. so if you lose at home it's not a big surprise it's a common thing. what is disappointing for supporters is probably because they lost at home to a weak Celta Vigo team which is currently only ranked 16th in the league approaching the relegation zone.

In a few hours we will watch the match and of course after El Classico a few days ago finished of course the Madrileno derby will be the favorite match to watch, looking at the statistics of the two teams so far it is clear that Madrid is still the ruler of the capital but still Atletico still has a big chance to stop Madrid , in terms of choice, I personally will bet on Madrid victory because however Ancelotti current squad is very impressive, in my opinion Madrid will be able to overcome Atletico resistance, which has always been famous for its hard play, apart from the match between Madrid vs Atletico, previously also we will watch the match between Barcelona vs Salamanca FC, against a team from the 3rd division of course it will not be a difficult matter for Barcelona later and I think Barcelona will win the match easily to win a place in the quarterfinals, I hope Barcelona can overcome Salamanca FC and hopefully We can watch the second volume of El Classico again in the Copa Del Rey final later.

What's the difference from this squad and that from last season that won the La Liga Competition? A clear difference visible to mean is Sergio Busquet who left for Inter Miami. The defense have just seen Jordi Alba leave and Balde played more of the games last season.
I'd say the defense is fine, maybe they be lacking and missing the Injured Ter Stegen who got Injured during international duties for Germany.

I'd also want to say they lack a good defensive midfielder to shield the defenders and that's something they need to bring in before the transfer window comes to an end. They've been linked with players like Kalvin Philips and Joshua Kimmich though, one of em would solve that issue.

And then, they need to create more chances for Robert Lewandoski, I don't believe he is declining. He remains the perfect man for them.

This happened because they had poor finishing that made Barcelona players try to put more pressure even their two full backs sometimes rarely now to return to position because they are more focused on attacking which is precisely this can be well utilized by the opponent and it was proven when looking at Madrid's 2 goals in the previous final it was an acceleration from the speed of Madrid players in a fast counterattack that was carried out which was unable to be stopped by Barcelona defenders because it was too forward and the offside trap that failed made it difficult for them to catch up with the speed of Madrid players.

Real Madrid without doubt have been the most consistent team in the Spanish football this season as they've won more games than any other Spanish team since the start of the current season but the only the game they lost in the Spanish La Liga this season was lost exactly on this very ground and that's why I think playing there again tonight against the same Atletico Madrid will be a very difficult game for the Spanish giants.

Real Madrid last Sunday in Saudi Arabia defeated Barcelona by a convincing scoreline of 4:1 which earned them the Spanish Super Cup trophy but that I don't will stop Diego Someone's Atletico Madrid from delivering their best tonight in search for a win against them

I believe that Xavi is a patriotic manager who have worked hard to bring the club to victory, last season was a testament of his efforts in the La Liga league but this season does not seem to be good for him as he's struggling with all efforts but that's not enough to have pushed the club forward to maintain the lead.

I am not happy for him because he is not achieving his dream to continue to take the club higher. In terms of performance, I can say that he's doing well, much more than the English coach, Ten Hag in terms of players and team management yet that's not just enough for him.

Clubs like Girona which is effective and efficiently managed by Michel are doing extremely well than one ever expected. But yes, it is time for them to shine too as they just joined the league in 2017. Barely 7 years after their entrance to the league, they are aiming very hard to take the league facing bigger and more celebrated clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid. Right now you can comfortably say that Girona have performed better than Atletico Madrid and Barcelona in the league.


I would not want to attach any emotions to this news. But if we must mention, I will continue to assert that Xavi has done his very best and that's the capacity he has and have exhibited. It is his previous club so everything he does is with passion and the dream to win more trophies for the club.

But, the whole game is based on competition and the club needs to meet up with the competition at hand. If Xavi's effort is not strong and convincing enough for them to win, the president will have no other options to go for a more stronger and convincing manager.

Already Girona's match against Sevilla isn't something to deliberate about because Sevilla can't stand the force of Girona and moreover, Sevilla isn't is a very good form since the season began so I don't see them making any difference in their match with Girona. Girona on the other hand is topping the table for now regardless of the fact that Real Madrid, who is their major title competitor for now has an outstanding match but I believe this is the time for Girona to Utilize this opportunity of topping the league so that should incase Real Madrid losses their outstanding match them Girona can comfortably claim the top of the league table.



For Real Madrid's match against Almeria, I think Real Madrid can't afford to trade that match for any reason and considering the fact that they are aware that Girona is topping the league table now will even make Madrid to play Girona with all they've got in them in other for them not to lose out the top spot of the league table to Girona.

Indeed, it is unfortunate about Valencia in the Copa del Rey because Valencia lost by Celta Vigo also with a big score of 1-3. Of course, this defeat was a disappointing defeat because after all, basically Valencia played at home and also, Valencia has a very good statistical record also in this matc h. But yes, the final result Valencia still failed to win in this match and yes, with this defeat Valencia was eliminated from the Copa del Rey this season. Although Valencia has a better position in the La Liga standings but yes, the fact remains not a guarantee for Valencia to be able to beat Celta Vigo in this Copa del Rey match.
