Even if Barcelona decides to prioritize the UEFA Champions League, I still do not think they'll be able win it because there are more formidable and consistent teams in the competition who are considered as favorites to win it ahead of Barcelona.

I chose Atletico Madrid and Barcelona to win in their respective matches but the reverse was the case. Who would have thought a relegation threatened team like Leganes would be able to win Atletico Madrid. It was disappointing to see Barcelona lose their lead and eventually playing draw also against a relegation threatened team. So many bettors were left in red by the results of both Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. With this recent results, Barcelona have ultimately gifted Real Madrid the league title this season.

Atl.Madrid is not as good as you think Atl.Madrid does have strength in terms of players but in terms of their game they don't have that except prioritizing defense, and I really avoid betting on the Atl. This is not about underestimating the opponent after winning a landslide victory over Real Madrid. Real Madrid are not new to Barcelona and playing against each always attracts more audience. Barcelona victory is not as a result of Real Madrid poor performance but as a result of rivalry which makes the two teams very serious and eager to defeat each. In a game like this if one of them scored it makes things difficult for other to find their balances especially when they have something in common. Both teams always act in their best performance when ever they played against each other.

I also thought of that because when they defeated Real Madrid with many goals and faced Real Betis with exactly the same goals. They generated that confidence from their last two matches victory, which they thought the can defeat Getafe easily may be due to Getafe performance but unfortunately it turned the other way round.

Barcelona players made their fans happily by winning against Real Madrid with a landslide result in a cup final match, but they are making a roller coaster for their fans too. In La Liga, they have had opposite performances in recent matches and it costs them a first position, and now likely a third position too.

Barcelona had good start, terrible at mid and late season. They're now very close to the ATM's odds, and may be going bigger in the coming weeks. I think it's very wise if they sacrifice La Liga to focus on UCL. They have no chance anymore to overcome madrid or even surpassed it.
