The simple problem in that match is that Barcelona lost lots of opportunities. Raphinha, Yamal, Lewendoski, and others were all quality of wasted chances. Getafe took the lead and Barca had to struggle to get a goal even if I see it as controversial. My view is that the Getafe goalkeeper seems to have lost the ball because he was forced to lose his grip by Barca players but the referee and other officials thought otherwise. This is football and La Liga precisely where there are no small teams. That team you underrated will surprise the so called big clubs. They have not won any game in three games, losing two and drawing one has made them lose eight points.

Real Madrid continues to be the greatest club in the La Liga this season. What a great effort versus Madrid; if they can keep it up, I'm confident they'll win the league for the second time. Las Palmas starts the game with motivation and scores in just one minute without any Madrid player touching the ball. However, they made a blunder by playing defensively for Real Madrid throughout the first half. And Ancelotti needs to lead the league to win it back-to-back this season and give Mbappe his first league trophy. Exactly, Barcelona is performing well in other competitions, but in the league, they are not doing so well. For nearly four games, they have not received three points and have only drawn games. In my perspective, Flick has already made major blunders by losing too many points, and it will be tough for them to catch Madrid at the moment.

Everyone found it difficult to understand what Barcelona was actually doing. Their performance goes down and up so quickly. they win when facing strong teams but they are unable to win when facing teams that are considered mediocre. And I'm sure many people lost their bets in the Barcelona match yesterday. If you carefully understand the pattern around the Barcelona style of playing in recent times, i think they literally don't look like they are battling for the league title, they are even likely to finish at a second position than they will at trying to win the league title this season, they actually did started off well and had good number of goals just should the need for such arise, but then they now actually having just two points from their last three games wasn't an impressive result to be really dependent upon.

It's really funny how Barcelona performed very well in the Super Cup matches and in the Copa de Rey but yet they keep on dropping points in the La Liga and they have now kept their self in a condition where it will be difficult for them to fight for the La Liga title since Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid have given them 5 and 7 points gaps respectively. Getting just 2 points from their last four games in the La Liga shows how their energy has really reduced unlike when they were winning consecutive games and topping the league table. Watching Barcelona win Real Madrid and Atletico Bilbao in the Super cup which are two strong teams but for them to just win Getafe became difficult instead they ended in playing draw. Hansi Flick even looks so confused and tired because he doesn't know which strategy to use for Barcelona that will help them get back to form in the La Liga.

I wasn't expecting Real Madrid not to seize this golden opportunity to go to the top of the table after athletico Madrid and Barcelona failed to win their matches. Real Madrid had no other option than to win this game and this win would help pacify the Madrid fans after that disappointing loss to Barcelona in the Spanish super cup final. Now it is left for the defending champions to continue winning so as to maintain their place at the top Because Barcelona and athletico would always be putting pressure on them continually.

The euphoria won Spanish Super Cup from Real Madrid seems to be useless because Barcelona has return to be unconsistent again and the draw result from Getafe makes Barcelona only collect 6 points from 8 matches which these records makes Barcelona had the worst performance in the last 50 years in La Liga competition so this is serious alert for Barcelona

Barcelona actually has good attacker players because the players such as Raphinha and Lewandowski can scores almost for every matches but unfortunately they don't have good balanced to their defensive lines i think this probably the causes why Barcelona unable to performing well and Hansi Flick want to buy at least 1 defender this January but Barcelona has no money to granted his wishes

I believe Barcelona will be bounce back soon so it's a matter of time and Barcelona has a match on Champion league against Benfica this Wednesday but most likely they will playing without Dani Olmo who got light injured and i believe they can win from this match

I only realized after I traced all the matches that Barcelona had played this season that Barcelona had actually suffered more defeats in Laliga than in all other competitions. And to be more precise, Barcelona in other competitions has only lost once in the Champions League to Monaco in the first UCL match. Apart from that, Barcelona seems to just keep winning in various competitions except Laliga. In La Liga, Barcelona also had an extraordinary winning trend at the start of the season. It's just that their trend started to get worse towards the middle of the season.  In fact, Barcelona at the start of the season was at the top of the standings with a large points difference with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. But now things have turned around.

But I hope that in Laliga Barcelona can get up and catch up again, which is now widening. Because I believe winning La Liga this season is also the most important thing for this team. A very important victory and Ancelotti is satisfied with Mbappe progress, imao Mbappe with Rodrigo who can build more cooperation because Rodrigo wants to play safe so he chooses to be a ball supplier rather than ambitious to score goals. Vinicius must also do the same thing considering that Ancelotti is currently honing Mbappe to become a center forward, so teamwork is needed like today match.

Barcelona really showed extraordinary performance in other competitions such as the Copa Del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup. As we can see in the last 4 matches before yesterday's match. But unfortunately, in La Liga, Barcelona's performance is still as bad as when they played against Atletico Madrid before the end of the year break. I also don't understand what really happened in Laliga. why Barcelona is only good in other competitions but only bad in Laliga. Even against Getafe it should be an easy match even though it is an away game for Barcelona. To be honest, I personally am quite disappointed with these results. But I still feel surprised. And now Barcelona is increasingly behind in terms of points in Laliga.

But I hope that in the Champions League in the match against Benfica we will see Barcelona continue to win and keep them strong in their current position in the UCL. because so far in the UCL Barcelona is still one of the best along with Liverpool. And I think it doesn't matter that Barcelona failed in Laliga this season. As long as Barcelona can win and win the UCL title.

Barcelona continue to make their fans sad.    Another point loss and they got only 2 points in their last 4 league games. This is very alarming for the title competition honestly.

They are already 5 points behind Atletico Madrid and 7 points behind Real Madrid. Not an impossible situation to recover from maybe but things are likely to get worse if they continue to lose points.

Although they lost first in the first minute of the match when Madrid hosted Las Palmas, Madrid was able to comeback with a score and quite deadly attacks in the match. And for Madrid's defeat in two El Clasico matches this season, one of which was in the Super Cup final, it is a very common thing because Madrid still has many opportunities and time to avenge it in other matches this season, especially when Madrid meets Barcelona again in the Copa Del Rey and also in La Liga. Although it is true as you said that Ancelotti still has to be wary of Atletico Madrid in La Liga this season because the team could again make an unexpected surprise that could bring them back to the top of the La Liga standings.

Yes that's football for you Barcelona might still come up to be at the top of the league or even end up winning the laliga tittle no body knows so in football there are ups and down Barcelona was on fire at the start of the season even me I thought they will probably be at the top of league till now or winning the tittle but looking at the league table now also with the current form of real Madrid in Spanish laliga it will be difficult for them to drop point of which the league tittle will definitely be between Real Madrid and ATM. In football I think it is always better so start bad and end well instead of starting good and end bad unlike Manchester City in the English premier league they started well during the beginning of season at a point they started losing several games in a row though now they are coming up again but I don't think they can be on top of the league again this season, this is why football is unpredictable.

When Las Palmas scored very early in the game we all thought it will be a problem for Real Madrid and that they might find it difficult to take advantage and top the league but they actually came very prepared for them. Real Madrid played really well and thanks to Kylian Mbappe that was at the top of his game, he played so well and inspired them to victory and now they are top of the league with two points clear.

Real Madrid impressed me a lot in the game as they kept on attacking and attacking and we could have seen more goals in the game but 3 Real Madrid goals were ruled out for offside. If Madrid should keep up their consistency they can win the league again this season because Barcelona have been struggling in their La Liga games recently as they have only won one game in their last 8 La Liga games which is very bad for them and Atletico Madrid that have very consistent lost to bottom table Leganes but lets hope it doesn’t affect their performance and they can keep challenging Real Madrid for the title.

That offside decision was a very controversial decision by the way. Although, Mbappe was in the offside position when they passed the ball to him but one of Las Palmas players stop the ball and then Madrid regain the possession and pass to Mbappe to score. He was initially in offside position which I quite agree but when Las Palmas player stopped the ball, he doesn't interfere or distract and that's where his offside stopped. Everything that happened after that should be considered a new play and the goal should have been awarded.

Regardless, it was a brilliant performance from all the players but Mbappe was exceptionally good. Madrid once again climb the ladder to take the position of the title race with two points ahead of Athletico Madrid and seven points ahead of Barcelona sitting on the third position. The title race is just getting interesting than ever.

A very impressive game, the Real Madrid players played very solidly in this match, of course Kylian Mbappe was outstanding with a very good pattern of play to score 2 goals, proving that he really is a quality player, although i was a little surprised that Las Palmas scored in the early minutes through Fabio Silva's shot. Real Madrid are currently top of the table, replacing Atletico Madrid who lost 1-0 to Leganes in the previous match.

Real have a positive balance of goals scored and conceded. Real have scored 47 goals and conceded 20, but Atletico have scored 34 goals but conceded 13, so their balance is less than Real's balans 20 against 27. Last season Real conceded less goals, but while Real's attack compensates for all the failures of the defense and even Mbappe began to play for the team and stopped being selfish on the field, which has had an extremely positive impact on the game of the team.
