But as for Barcelona I think they look lost at the moment, first it was because of Yamal that they couldn’t win matches now he his back and they are still losing matches. Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick needs to step up and maybe twerk his formation a bit because it is no longer working again. One win in the last five is unacceptable seriously.
Atletico on the other hand needs to actually seize the opportunity and take the lead, they are now level on point with Barcelona with a game at hand the advantage is now on them to grab it

Lamine Yamal did not perform optimally in this match, neither did Leandowski. These two players were substituted in the second half due to their performances, but the others didn't help either. There were several good opportunities throughout the match, but they all failed because Leganes' performance was very tight in defense. Marko Dmitrović was the best player in this match because of his several brilliant saves, even when his team only had 19% possession of the ball.

I think Barcelona will always be different when Hansi Flick is not on the sidelines. Hansi FLick received a red card in the previous match for protesting the referee's decision, meaning he could not lead Barcelona due to the ban. But of course it is very unfortunate, Barcelona had to lose points at home when Real Madrid also didn't win yesterday.

I think I'll settle for the too much engagement of this season, Barcelona had a very busy week and they don't have much time to rest before coming for this game against Leganes and the visitors only have one serious competition they're in and which is the league games, same with the Madrid side who has been busy with champions league games.
Barcelona players are a bit tired and they don't need to over work themselves if not it will result to a very serious injury that might cost them something important like the league so the coach need everybody to be active for the task ahead. This is another reason I don't have to blame Barcelona that much but since they're the bigger team much is expected.

even though I was quite shocked by the results of the match between Real Madrid and Rayo Vallecano with a draw, so that the club dropped to third place and was overtaken by Atletico Madrid who were so consistent in these 5 matches winning continuously without any draws or losses.

and I was even more surprised when I saw the results of the match from Barcelona vs Leganes, where Leganes managed to defeat Barcelona at home with a painful defeat experienced by Barcelona\., Shocked

However, today Barcelona lost their match to a mediocre team who is 15th on the table. Real Madrid is not the threat here, but Atletico Madrid is, because they're more consistent than Barcelona presently. Barcelona chance of winning the league is getting slimmer.

It seems that luck will be on Atletico Madrid side this season, because Barcelona and Real Madrid have been far from consistent as trophy contenders. We know that Real Madrid are suffering from player injuries, and Barcelona are actually not much different. I think Atletico Madrid will use this momentum to take over the top of the standings in the future. It was very surprising to see Barcelona lose points at home, Leganes quick goal destroyed the host's mentality. The additional three points moved Leganes away from the red zone, and overall they were very lucky today. Meanwhile, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are lucky because they still have one game left to play, that will give them a chance to overtake Barcelona position in the future.

Don't be surprised that Barcelona will still be the one to win or Real Madrid.

There are at least 5 to 8 players in defense who make Leganes truly capable of thwarting Barcelona's efforts to score a goal. They were well concentrated without making many mistakes, but it is true that there were some questionable refereeing decisions. This was not only about penalties, but there were several other physical contacts that were not considered violations by him throughout the match.

Until the 85th minute, Barcelona still failed to score a goal. They failed to take advantage of many opportunities, the rest being due to Leganes' tight defense. I don't know what motivated Leganes to play as well as they did today, of course because I think they are one of the weak teams who tend to drop points against big teams like Barcelona.

It's true, Barcelona were 1 goal behind in the first half and they were unlucky with some good chances. It was not easy to beat Leganes with their good defensive strategy, they were also helped by the good performance of their goalkeeper in making several saves. In all likelihood, your guess is correct, Leganes will not be able to maintain its lead against Barcelona. The intensity of attacks will be increased throughout the second half because Barcelona will not want to lose points in order to maintain top position.

In the second half, I think Barcelona led by Marcus Sorg needed to make some more effective approaches. Finishing is still their problem so far and this needs to be improved. What is certain is that Leganes will pile up a lot of players in their defensive area in the second half, of course because they want to maintain their lead.

It's still uncertain but my hope is still like that Cheesy

Now the match has entered the crucial time where the last 15 minutes usually occur some unexpected situations but indeed Leganes still looks strong with their defense and remains focused on maintaining the current score.

Barcelona are not bad at all in terms of possession and the rhythm they create but we can't close our eyes when in this match their finishing is not very good.
Lewa as a targetman did not seem to be able to make a good contribution in this match as well as Dani Olmo but indeed their substitutes have also not provided anything meaningful so far.

If Barcelona lose another point in this match then the hope for Madrid is still wide open but we still have to wait for what will happen in the last 15 minutes of normal time this time.

The game is currently on the 66th minute and the away team is still leading with a goal to nil. If Leganes succeeds to clinch victory tonight, this will go down in history as one of those famous wins in the club's history. Barcelona is doing all their best to try break the defense of the away team but their visitors are too resilient to allow that happen. Real Madrid who drew their game yesterday will overtake Barcelona of they win their outstanding game and Barcelona fails to win tonight.

There's every possibility that atletico Madrid claims the trophy this time around... After all, when was the last time it happened?? 10 years ago.. We've got players that came into the club, played at their best levels and still didn't touch/lift the trophy anyway. We've got major competitions that they can possibly prove themselves if they want, not the el clasico.
