Yeah I think agree with you to an extent about their passiveness in spending during the last two transfer windows. The thing is Real Madrid is a combination of veteran and young world class players so and the players in their possession was very capable enough to compete for major honours of the season. But after they allowed Casemiro to leave for Manchester United they needed to sign another great player in that position which they failed to do. Well the season is almost over and I think they're gonna get new more players to help the club come next season as Jude Bellingham's deal is almost signed and sealed

Their next opponent is Celta Vigo. But with their current conditions and hopes of moving away, it's clear that this is still possible, it's just that it's certain that Celta Vigo also doesn't want to drop points for now.
Valencia are one step above the relegation zone but their points are still not safe now as they are still on level points with Getafe and only 3 points higher than Espanyol who are in the unsafe zone.

Real Madrid is not in good condition they have lost twice in the last five matches. This shows that Real Madrid is going through something that is making their game performance decrease.Luckily, Real Sociedad knew that, so they took advantage of this situation to score a goal to win, and finally take one point off the top of the standings.
