La Liga still has 14 matches remaining and at the moment the difference in Real Madrid's points is only 9 points, all possibilities are still possible but an advantage for Barcelona at this time is the inconsistency of Real Madrid which the Barcelona team has been able to use very well.

Atletico Madrid deserves to be appreciated in this match. They scored 2 goals in the first half and 4 goals in the second half to confirm their victory in the match. Actually I think Sevilla could have defended better in the second half. but in reality Sevilla created more space behind them in the second half. And Atletico Madrid can put that to good use. for the next match Atletico Madrid also seems to be able to add full points back. because the next opponent that Atletico Madrid will face is Girona. Girona is actually slightly better than Sevilla this season. and Girona also play at home in this match later. so that Atletico madrid cannot be careless in this fight.

Do not focus much on one game played by ATM to confirm their improvement. It has been a while where ATM is fluctuating much. They have good players and an old school coach, yet they still miss points. Scoring 6 goals was good but it doesn't look far from Liverpool victory with 7 goals vs ManU. Yes this wasn't some breakthrough game and we will now get to see the old Atletico Madrid. Now I have to mention that they did improve recently when it comes to their defense performances. That was and has always been the backbone of their successful game style. They are still conceding goals, but less than a few months ago. As you may remember, their game was 100% based on not conceding a goal, waiting for that one chance, take the 1-0 lead and win the game. It was crazy.

When you check the tables of seasons of the past and look at the goal differences of La Liga winners, Atletico Madrid is the one team that was able to compete with Barcelona and Real Madrid just because they conceded hardly any goals. They could never reach the numbers in scoring goals, but their defense has been solid and that is why they were successful.

But now, neither Madrid nor Barcelona now have much anxiety to go for the 4th or 5th goal if 3 goal is already recorded. They play a relaxed and comfortable football throughout the remaining minutes. It is only Bayern that still keep such spirit. I was surprised i at the same time impressed at ATM's goal rate in that match.

True but it's good for real madrid to cut the gap although it will not so big. I don't even think if bilbao will able to win the game. seeing from the last performance by barcelona and that makes me feel comfort to pick it.
Bilbao may able to prevent barcelona to get full points but as you said that barcelona just like have some lives to be tried to get la liga's title. 9 points gap is really big. It's not even 9 but 4 points are also very big if the club like barcelona keeps winning the game until the end of season. We are becoming even closer to the end of season. Real madrid is only able to wait for that to happen. Barcelona may or may not be losing more points until the end of season.

Indeed. Barcelona is the favorite team to win La Liga trophy now. They only focus on La Liga only now, they no longer have international competitions like UCL or Europa League. Standing with 9 point is a big conviction they will lift the trophy. And if they also succeed in defeating Real Madrid in the second leg of Copa del Rey semi-finals they will still increase their chance of winning that as well. It depends on the Copa del Rey. If Real Madrid fall out of the Copa del Rey, they will focus on LaLiga and UCL. For now Real Madrid has a busy schedule, so their performance has decreased. They are too tired for every week.

Not sure why you bring Real Madrid when uchegod-21 just talking about Barcelona. Though, that's a lame excuse by saying you can finally focus on a competition if you fail the other one. You play in multiple games at once because you have capability and well-deep squad for that.
