This leaves me thinking if all these have got something to do with Barcelona not yo have taken there chance with Manchester United in the Europa as they eventually got kicked out. Even after been given a penalty that was a little controversial.
Still, I don't see Barcelona to be that team that revolves there game around R. Lewandowski and so, his absence is undefined in the game.

Real Madrid on the other hand should have made this count for them at the very least. Barcelona remains a rivalry be it in what ever tournament, its an El-classico and they should punish them to have been top of the league already. Not the league for sure but, its an El-classico.

Sevilla is looking more and more like Valencia this season: a great team that is performing awfully to the extent of flirting with the relegation. And, as you said, Atlético is doing quite well lately.

Let's see how Real Sociedad does today (the match against Cádiz has just started) but, if they lose, or even draw, Atlético has chances to overcome them in the third position of the table. And if they get there, I think they'll stay there the rest of the league.

Actually, if we follow the league from the start of the current season, Seville's performance can be said to be much better than before.
Now at least they are not stuck in the relegation zone and to say about Valencia they are not very good right now after a normal start.

We couldn't score even though we had a lot of chances but we couldn't put them on target. Barcelona's defense was too difficult to penetrate even though several times I almost thought that we could turn the score around to win, but in the end the chance never came. Real Madrid played well, but the effectiveness of the attack that was built only failed because of Barcelona's dense defense.

I'd say it was the most boring match, but I don't blame Xavi's tactics of trying to find himself to get the most out of us. We also almost conceded second goal if Ansu Fati didn't blocked Kessie's shot. Of course, expecting to win without an effective attack will be very difficult, and we need good tactics that work well for maximum results.

Controlling the game and securing a win is two different thing. Real Madrid were on an open attack leaving a vulnerable defense for Barcelona to lunch attack. It would have been more than a goal if Barcelona made use of their attacking line as usual, but I'm glad they were able to win the match.
