I would certainly not write off Real Madrid yet. This has happened way too often now that they were with their back against the wall and turned an ugly situation into a positive outcome for them. Now the game in Barcelona will be harder because chances are good that Barcelona has more players available by then. That is clearly a chance that Real Madrid missed today.

The game today says nothing about the game that will be in La Liga. It could have gone either way today as well. Modric's chance after 30 seconds could have been a goal, it was no off-side. Benzema could have timed his run into the box better and thereby avoid off-side when he scored that goal. Sometimes the own goal also doesn't happen the way it happened.

We are discussing about nuances here and even the Copa del Rey is not a done deal yet for Barcelona. Taking the lead in Barcelona is not impossible for Real Madrid. I would say that the chances are about 60:40 for Barcelona at this point.

If Real Madrid can beat many big clubs in Champions League even when they were conceded first in the past season and in this season, it's not big matter for them to beat Barcelona at Camp Nou. If they play with their best, they can beat Barcelona there.

Barcelona are weaker than many big clubs in Champions League that is shown in their failed group stage and they were relegated to Europa League at which they failed in two play-off matches with Manchester United.

Anyway, the first El Classico in Coppa del Rey is very funny. From some personal clashes on field especially the moment between Vini and De Jong. Then a moment how Barcelona got the only and winning goal in the match.

After this disappointing result Real Madrid are going to go back to the La Liga with an away game against Betis.

It looks quite difficult for them in my opinion. Betis are a team fighting for the Champions League. Real Madrid have had some weaknesses in quite many league games so far. Maybe they can experience the same thing here as well. If Betis manage to play like Villarreal did against Real Madrid then I think Real Madrid would have huge difficulties in winning this. They might even get a loss in that case. They really need a win after the draw against Atletico Madrid.

But it's really disappoint for me because I bet before and also in the live match for Real Madrid to win, I expected a good result from Real Madrid, but Barcelona are quite tight in defensively so Real Madrid had a hard to getting their good opportunity. Xavi knows how to stop Real Madrid's seriousness, and his method is a good defensive organization and control of Vincius by Araujo players. As for Ancelotti, Real Madrid appeared helpless to penetrate the Barcelona defense, and Benzema became bad. Even though Real Madrid should have won the match earlier because Barcelona did not appear with a full squad.

It was a very interesting game honestly. Real Madrid had so many goal attempts but none of them was on target as well. This can be the weirdest game for them in this season because of that. It must be painful not to take advantage of their domination during the game. I really appreciate Barcelona for their hard-fought victory as well because they didn't even have Lewandowski here.

It's quite a promising return to see FCB playing a game just like the one in the past honestly; the game was tough and Madrid couldn't survive a moment of trial...lol.... quite a promising victory against their usual competitors, though I'm not having much surprises at them victories lately, they need to keep it burning.
On the other hand, militao spilled the milk by conceeding an own goal for his team....that in turns became an advantage for the already paralysed FCB.

I totally forgot about the match between Real Madrid and Barcelona as the Copa Del Rey semi-final.
It was when I saw an update from a friend that I rushed to live scores to check the scores. I was surprised not to have seen much goals, but the only goal that was called was an own goal from the Real Madrid Defender.
This showed that it was really a tough match between these two giants of La Liga.
Could it be that Barcelona has learnt how to play Real Madrid recently?
I am not hopeful that Real Madrid will exit Barcelona in the second leg.

I must confess,I enjoyed the match because it was superb. Many chances of making a difference in the match couldn't be converted to a goal. The next match will be played in camp nou which is an advantage for Barca.

This is one of the most unexpected outcomes of the event this season, who would have thought that Barca will beat Real Madrid at this early stage and for the fact that Barcelona players were able to defend the goal till the end of the game shows how capable the Barcelona defence is and this will set a good foundation for the upcoming marches in the season.
