Real Sociedad solid defense made it difficult for Real Madrid's players to find goals even though they controlled the game. There were no opportunities that were taken advantage of perfectly because Real Sociedad defense played very disciplined. Real Sociedad have become a new contender for the top four, I am not too surprised by their success in bringing home a point from the Santiago Bernabeu because their performances this season have been very good.

To be honest, villareal was even very offensive started from the first minutes of playing. Raye vallecano's keeper was doing so well to make some important saves. Im so glad to see that with only one moment and raye vallecano was able to win against villareal. Villareal doesn't care so much about a counter attack that already made by raye vallecano. Villa real has been trying to give so many pressures for raye vallecano. Raye vallecano's defensive was very solid in that match. A bit surprised to see that even with full defensive againsg villareal has been making vallecano won against it.

Real Madrid failed to grab the three points in the game after a goal-less draw against real sociedad. The game was filled of actions from the Los blancos who took every single chances to net a goal but the visitors didn't hold back with a strong defendline in the match. That's the third draw for real madrid this season under Carlo Ancelotti. It was a must win game for the Los blancos who wasted most of their chances and dominated the entire first and second half, Vinicius Jr wasted chances and Remiro made great saves in the game and it led to levelled scoresheet. Real Madrid are ranked second on the table with 42 pointsz topping real sociedad with 3 points who are behind them.

Maybe Gattuso does not match with a coach position and I think I am wrong if I say he is not smart enough to be a coach. Generally, failing to be a part of whole club is not a good factor to support their success in management.

It was very hard for a Gattuso to become a coach, he didn't shine so much, since 2013, he could only give 1 Coppa Italia trophy to Napoli. International break seems breaking their focus , they should get the chhampions league spot though but at the current position at 5th and 3 points away from 4th position atletico and 8 points away from 3rd position real sociedad , it's a tough one to face and takeover the CL position.

Europa league might be the most reasonable one to reach for villareal this season.

the thing about them is that they beat Real Madrid after the international break, and they played well against them and in the friendlies before that, but they somehow found difficulties against Rayo Vallecano, their race for CL qualification is really hard against a team like Atletico Madrid and even the Europa League since Real Betis are still one match behind and has the same points as Villarreal so far, Betis match will be against Barcelona so they could lose it and end up with the same points as Villarreal with 19 matches played, tough race for both of them without forgetting Rayo Vallecano of course.

For the positions, Real Betis still lacks 1 match so the worst scenario is to keep 2 points gap between them and Villarreal, while the best scenario is to beat Barcelona and move in front of ATM which is unlikely to happen.

That's always happen in football, Villarreal beat real Madrid and lost against vallecano who really showed great football this match, Villarreal still in a good position and they must not be very frustrated and continue their good preformence this year and why not playing the UCL in the next season

That's right, both teams shooted just 3 times on target during the whole match, vallecano team played very well defensively and was able to block all Villarreal attacks, first defeat for Villarreal after 5 matches without defeat in la Liga, they keep on the 5th place but the 6th betis still have a match to play

Villarreal - Vallecano game wasn't a very impressive one. Both teams were quite bad at finding the target but I was still hoping to see Villarreal making it to the win. But Vallecano scored in the 70th minute surprisingly and managed to keep the score until the end. This was indeed an unexpected loss by Villarreal. They should have been more effective while they had Moreno especially.

I don't understand Villarreal really. They beat Real Madrid before by a really decent performance. But they are getting a result like this now. They are such an unbalanced team.

Sadly it was not, the result was drawn without any goal 0 - 0. This is so disappointing. Carlo Ancelotti still praised his team even though they failed to win the home game. I think he needs to work hard to improve the team's performance following Barcelona's recent good form.

Their motivation seems to also decrease currently, Ancelotti should be able to rise up again their motivation and also do something better strategy to make victory in every match. The next matches will be probably not easy for them because they will also face Valencia, although, on paper, Real Madrid must be superior. But seeing how they played against Real Sociedad, I am really worried about the next result.

Barcelona are in a really comfortable position after Real Sociedad have done them a really nice favour inadvertently. The point gap has gone up to 5 points and this is an important advantage in the title competition.

We are still in the middle of the season maybe but Barcelona and Real Madrid are the strongest teams by far. When one of them maintains a solid form then it is really not easy to stop that team. Barcelona are the in-form team at the moment and who knows when they will be stopped. The next El Clasico is also important of course but it is in Camp Nou also. This makes Barcelona quite advantageous. They couldn't do much in the previous one but now they look like they have solved their problems with not being able to win big matches.
