Simeone wouldn't change his strategies that easy. He has been using the similar structure for the team since he became their manager. These game strategies helped them a lot too but it isn't helping much now. They had serious problems last season and the result would be much more different if they didn't manage to recover at some point. Even if he doesn't make substantial changes for this team they can at least strengthen some specific lines. Maybe you think it is enough but I believe they might need a reliable striker. Morata wastes so many opportunities and Griezmann isn't like in the old times anymore.

I can't think like that when they don't strengthen their defense and midfield. Because what I saw last season, their biggest weakness was in their defence. This is rumor only, we have to wait for final deal and announcememt of the transfer. Lewandowski is not happy in Bayern but will he agree to sign a contract with Barcelona is different. There are more big clubs in Europe can give him a striker position and with better salary than Barcelona.

In other clubs, he won't have to change his playing style and struggle with tiki taka. We know old people, old players are more difficult to adapt to new things, new tactics.

If he agrees with Barcelona, moves there, he will have to face with one of biggest challenge in his career, adapting to a tactic he has never played with, tiki taka.

For Barcelona, it seems another failed transfer from the idea and maybe they will get failed result from their bet.
