I think barca is doing a funny trick, they are targeting the host players (new players in the barca squad) like Alonso, Azpilicueta and Lewandowski

I'm not sure if the results that will be obtained by barca will be good (if barca manages to get all three) because the three players above are over 30 years old and deserve to retire lol

I'm curious about the performance that barca will show next season

Thinking of Mbaape like Benzema seems difficult. I think Benzema's playing style is more of a ball finisher. Benzema became the target of the ball in the penalty area. Mbappe is the creator making him a pure attacker seems to need a long adaptation. Although he was prolific in this season, he scored 28 goals in Ligue 1 in 35 match. Actually I was in awesome of Haaland but he had also gone to Man City. Maybe they can buy Martinez or Gabriel Jesus. Perhaps at this time Anceloti should barani give Luka jovic more playing time.

Agree, they don't really need a new striker like Lewandowski. They already have Aubameyang, Luuk De Jong, and Memphis Depay, these 3 strikers are more than enough for Barcelona. Barcelona only uses 1 striker in their usual formation, they rarely put 2 strikers on their attacking line. So, what for to sign another striker? Roll Eyes

For midfield and defense lines, they also have enough players. They actually just need to improve their quality, not the quantity.

Just the same, this task is not difficult given that they have recently re-established themselves as a team. They're in form now, and I think they'll do better next time, gaining their strength and using it competently on the pitch. Plus it's summer and there will be transfers, a few transfers will definitely be good and will help the team during the season. The thing about the Champions League is debatable, because you never know what's going to happen there.

Xavi's plan seems like building a squad full of youngsters indeed. Of course they will have experienced players like Aubameyang and maybe Lewandowski too if they manage to sign him. He is investing into their young and promising players especially to have a bright future. As Barcelona's youth setup is very solid they are really lucky about it. They actually started to show a good level of peformance already now as their effort until the end of the season was really great. We don't know if they will keep this up next season too of course but I hope they do.

I don't know how they will do that, but the game is already tilted against them. Barcelona would need to rebuild by buying new good players, which I think is going to be very hard since their expenditure is limited. Yeah maybe you are right about that. Atletico Madrid and Sevilla both aren't teams that have a main goal like winning the La Liga championship. Barcelona and Real Madrid are overwhelming the league most of the time. I know that Atletico Madrid were the previous champion team but they don't do this very often too. So maybe this could be the reason why they aren't trying to build even a stronger team than Barcelona or Real Madrid. As for Sevilla, they have already been a usual for the third or fourth position. Barcelona are currently in debts, although facing financial crisis is really a bad news for the club. Perhaps the team needs to start winning trophies inother to settle their debts. The catalans can not even go for high level players in the transfer window due to their financial instability, but if they do better next season, they will settle some debts. The team is currently working perfect with their performance lately and Barca boss, Xavi will bring new young players to the team this summer.

As it stands Barcelona don't look balanced and ready to win the Uefa champions league. The team is still shaky joint with the financial crisis they are facing. They have a good attacking force with Memphis, Aubameyang, Trore they should focus on adding to the midfield and defence instead. Xavi has brought life back to Barcelona, they were incredible this season they ended on the season on a good note.

I don't see any option for Barcelona how they will be able to get out of that debt. They don't have very good players that can be sold for a huge amount of money and if they do sell them they will eventually have to play with really bad players, to be honest. So I think this problem will take a lot of time to get fixed.

Fighting hard next season will be difficult especially with some players who now don't want to go back to the same as in the previous season especially in terms of salary reductions.
They've lost quite a lot when they gave up half their salary and now they don't want anything like this anymore obviously this will create some controversy again within Barcelona now.
In the end this if it continues to be postponed will only become a ticking time bomb now.
