Atletico Madrid's form decreased too much this season by the way. They were the last champions but in this season they started to be very inconsistent. Simeone even thought of leaving the team for some time after a very poor form. After some time passed, they started to improve their effort and this helped them enter top four at least. But this wasn't a satisfying performance for a champion team obviously. I even started to think that Atletico Madrid need to make some substantial changes. Simeone's system is decent but not good enough to maintain successful years.

Simeone must have stayed with them for over a decade now, isn't it nice they part ways with him already ?
They flopped badly the last campaign, I hope he sets thing's right or get to be shown the exit, giving too much control to managers really ain't a good idea for me. But if he turns tuings around and get them results he might surely continue as head Coach.
Simeone has become an inseparable part of Atletico Madrid, the club's top brass trust in Simeone is very high, Atletico management looks still comfortable with Simeone performance. Simeone contract at Atletico until 2024, since taking charge of Atletico on 23 December 2011, Siemone has led Atletico to win two La Liga trophies, one CDR, one Supercopa, two Europa Leagues, two UEFA Super Cups, and two Champions League runners-ups .
Simeone contribution made Atletico officials very satisfied, the only reason Siemone was still retained as Atletico coach was because club officials still believed Simeone could still give Atletico trophies.

Unlike before, the Spanish League does not have the same appeal among fans. Having lost an interest in watching football after Messi's departure from Barcelona, now it's the end of an era at Real Madrid. It started with Ronaldo, then Sergio Ramos, then Marcelo. Real Madrid was blessed to have one of the greatest players in history in their ranks, now they have Benzema, Vinícius Jr. Could Spanish football have its brightest side back once again? Let's hope that Barcelona returns to form next season with more power, so we can watch more competitive matches.

The team took another shape ever since Xavi took over the team as the manager of the club.He has proven to be one of the best managers so far in my eyes, because he revived the team when the team was already dieing. He revived the team spirit, changed their mentality, and built confidence in the player, and now they are now tittle contenders. He brought in some players who were ready to serve the team and gave their all for the growth of the team, and finally, success was achieved.
Let's say, Xavi's the best thing that happened to Barcelona this season ever since the board sack Ronald Koeman, Former Everton Coach, they brought in their legend, Xavi Hernandez. The Spaniard brought in certain players who played vital role in the team. Like Pierre Aubameyang who the new boss sign from Arsenal really impressed the team and the fans with his outstanding performance. Barcelona who where down the table later pick form and before anyone could notice, they were suddenly in the Top 4th, besides they ended second on the table. Although we are still expecting so many things from them next season.

Barcelona is not only Messi, although Messi has helped Barcelona get many titles, it does not mean that Barcelona will be destroyed without Messi.

But we can't reverse the fact, the fact is that after messi left last year Barcelona were destroyed, Barcelona dropped from the top 5 of La Liga. Barcelona did not prepare anything to accompany the departure of the captain, but fortunately the management took quick steps. The team brought in former Barcelona captain, Xavie Hernandez and entrusted Barcelona in the hands of the coach.

I don't think we will see Barcelona in the top 5 of La Liga now, if management doesn't take the next step on Xavi Hernandez after Lionel Messi's departure. It's true, and the his departure had quite an impact on Barcelona.

I don't agree with you, Barcelona without messi is like a small team.

Messi was an excellent player, perhaps the best in history. But Barcelona is not a small team without Messi, as you said. If they had had a particularly healthy season, everything would have been very different. You can't even imagine how dangerous they would be, if Pedri and Fati play in every match. With new transfers in the new season, Barcelona will re-establish the squad that will play for the championship. Now the Messi era is over, it has to be accepted. There's a new roster plan and there's no reason it shouldn't be successful.
Barcelona is not only Messi, although Messi has helped Barcelona get many titles, it does not mean that Barcelona will be destroyed without Messi. Barcelona have had a limp season, Xavi's arrival has been a cure for Barcelona, finishing second got Barcelona back on track. Xavi has looked at several players to form his squad, young La Masia Alumni players can be relied on. Vaxi needs some experienced top players to strike a balance in the squad, Xavi's plans are very big for next season's competition, Xavi tries to return Barcelona to the championship track even though Without the presence of Messi in the squad, the new era of Barcelona is in Xavi hands.

It looks like Alvaro Morata is returning to Atletico Madrid this time indeed. Juventus don't seem very willing to extend his loan contract for now and it is expiring in a month. Maybe they already tried their luck but didn't get a positive response. Morata's period at Juventus hasn't been the most terrible one actually. He has had average seasons with them. I don't believe that Atletico Madrid will give him many opportunities though so maybe they might decide to sell or loan him again. I still don't think that he is more than an average striker.

Morata is a good player, he will definitely help the Atletico midfield and forward well.
Morata is an experienced striker, he surely will help Atletico attacking line. He already played in La Liga for many times, he won't be difficult to adapt with la liga competition.

I also don't hate Madrid but seeing Real Madrid always win the La Liga, it makes me a little sick LOL. The current La Liga is not much different from the current Bundesliga which is only dominated by one team (La Liga = Madrid & Bundesliga = Bayern).
No, the situation of Real Madrid isn't the same as Bayern in Bundesliga.
Real Madrid isn't always winning the La Liga title, they don't really dominate the La Liga. You need to check again the history of La Liga winners, Real Madrid didn't win the title every season. Previously, the La Liga title was got by Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid already have a striker that is very good, scoring goals on regular basis for them, except they are looking for a more younger striker, that will have a future with the club, but I can say that Karim Benzema is very good, and he has no intention of leaving the club despite other club wanting his services.Haaland chose Mancity because he feels there are so many players that can give him assists, and make him score more goals.
Haaland chose Manchester City because his father played there also.
For Real Madrid, they have Benzema which is one of the best striker, played the best season so far, being the leader and so on and no one can argue with that. The problem is he gets quite older and we all know that Real Madrid tries always to find young talent to keep the team shining all the time. If Mbappe joined them, Benzema will surely continue playing, so having another forwarder won't make him disappear but will make the team stronger
Fortunately haaland still have a huge respect when a huge club like barcelona interested in him.

Unlike mbappe who looks disgrace real madrid with its offer and prefer choose the irrejectable offer from psg.
Well .. everyone thoughts that the future el classico would be between haaland at barcelona and mbappe at real madrid ... all of those hope just wiped out.
El classico will never be the same now.

Morata or no Morata, that will not give Atletico the championship. I really only see 1 title candidate and that is Real Madrid. Barcelona in good shape can come close, but last season we saw very often how vulnerable they are. Pity. It is still too young and changeable team to really become champions. between themselves they could both win Madrid's games, but I think they will lose a lot of points against lower teams.

to me even if Messi is not in Barcelona the team is playing well,  Barcelona was able to meet up with second position in the laliga stand. Messi no more in Barcelona does not make Barcelona an average team or weak team.

Barcelona is still a strong team without Messi but they are not as strong as when Messi played there. Finished in 2nd place in La Liga is the proof that they are not as strong as previously, moreover they failed to win the Europa League. When Messi was a Barcelona player, they can win many trophies both in local and international competitions. But even Messi played in Barcelona now, they may not return as strong as previously because Messi is no longer in his prime. He has a problem with his health and he can't show his best form anymore.

Since they were the last Champion. We expected much from them this season. But, Unfortunately Atletico started the season with poor performance, and wasn't able to win consistently in their matches. I initially thought they won't even end the season at the top 4. However, they struggled their way to the third position. Nevertheless, it will definitely be a great idea for the team to make some changes in the squad. Simeone really have to take good advantage of the next Summer transfer.

If we mention Barcelona, there is always a shadow of Messi's name which is always the subject of discussion even though Messi left last season. messi is a legend of bercelona and his name will always be remembered. This season, Barcelona have played quite well without Messi, which means that Barcelona can move quite quickly in their revival after being left by Messi. next season maybe there will be some new players who will join barcelona and i think Barcelona is stronger next season compared to this season.

actually simeone is a good coach. At the start of the season, the form of Atletico was quite good but at the end of the season they lost to Barcelona (who started the season in poor form). btw, There is news that Morata will return to Atletico due to not being signed by Juventus, hopefully, this will be a good thing for Atlético next season.
