They would have compete with Real madrid for the trophy but time is not on their side anymore, although they started the Season poorly, but look at the present Barcelona, they can't be compared to Sevilla and real Madrid currently.Their form is superb at the moment and they can do everything possible to maintain that position.

Barcelona boys and Xavi are being extraordinary wonderful each day. Their momentum is so high and they keep maintaining it. I was saying that top 4 was good and the best performance that Barcelona will need to reach this season. Not knowing they could be in number 3 position, I thought it was all, not knowing they were determined to overtake Sevilla. But now to meet up with Real Madrid is something that is looking like an impossible. This is because Real Madrid is not a team that can lose too many matches that will give Barcelona chances to advance. Assuming the league is longer, it would have been a different story. But with barely 8 matches or so remaining, no chances for Barcelona to advance more than this.
