With only 8 La Liga games remaining, it means that Barcelona still has a chance to compete with Real Madrid for the title. They are now just 12 points adrift, with Barcelona still one game remaining and if they win they will narrow the gap to 9 points. Real Madrid have to be careful, they have to play well in every game and win it if they want to stay safe.
It's near impossible for them to put any pressure there. Real is also a great team that doesn't lose that many points, Sevilla may have created a bit of a trouble for themselves and ended up here, but that's a problem with Sevilla, real is not the same team. When they see that there is a danger of getting caught soon, they will take it up a notch and win it and it won't be a problem for them.

I think sooner or later Xavi will become a successful coach with Barcelona and he is on the right track at the moment. It's nice to see him fired up enough to build a team that was so slumped at the start of the season, now Barcelona is so different from before.
It will be very possible, in the first season at this time he has been good enough to get Barcelona out of the mud and restore his form to become one of the giants in La Liga. it is possible that in the coming seasons he can make something interesting and even though there are no guarantees but if you look at his performance this season I don't think it's wrong to expect that next season will again make La Liga competitive in the title race

At least Madrid have to be serious with the rest of their games. Making mistakes even to lose, will make Barcelona even more eager to chase their points. The hardest matches was probably against Atletico, but I was worried about the other game. Because based on experience, Madrid even lost against small teams instead of seeded. So their target should be to be able to win in every remaining La Liga game.
I find it difficult to say that Real Madrid will lose against a small team. I'm sure real Madrid will win all of these games but they have to be helped by the referee's decisions. like during their last match recently it was very clear they were assisted by the referee, if they were not assisted by the referee they might get a draw or they could lose.
