Indeed Real Madrid is not a team like Sevilla that Barcelona are easy to catch, as they do now shifting Sevilla in second place. Real Madrid has a strong mentality to defend its position. Yea Real Madrid have long time win the league even before Barcelona start competiting, Carlo Ancelotti has done really an amazing job and he might end up winning the double I mean the champions League and Spanish league,after what they did to Chelsea today, I think other team will take them serious and I think the should try their best in bringing Mbappe in the summer because Karim benzema won't do it on alone.but not withstanding Xavi Hernandez has really done van exceptional job in a short time at Barcelona but you won't be too suprise he knows everything about Barcelona.

Barcelona's only chance of becoming Spanish champions should be next season; based on how their new manager Xavi is building the team, they will be among the title contenders next season; however, it is too late for them this season because Real Madrid is in fine form and cannot afford to lose any more games; additionally, there is a significant point difference between the two teams.

Short time or not can be objective, but the chance is surely very small. Although 8 matches mean 24 points, it is only obtained if winning all the remaining matches without draws or loses. I am even not sure if Barcelona can win all the remaining matches and Real Madrid will be defeated in more than 3 matches. Barcelona actually has done a great job after they are managed by Xavi, finish at 2nd place won't be a bad result for them. Just remember where Barcelona position was when they were managed by Koeman. It was in 8th place, but now they are in 2nd place. Truly amazing improvement!

It is such a funny thing that we are talking about even a possibility of this. After 20th week or so, if you asked people what Barcelona would do, the best they would say could be third, ask them right before Koeman was fired and it was doubtful that they would be even fourth in the league. Today we are talking about if Real Madrid would lose enough points to make the league a competitive thing all over again.

I still do not think that Barcelona could get the league, that looks quite improbable but at the same time it shows the world that if you really work enough then you could change the perception of people about you very easily and very quickly, within just few months.

But maybe we can at least see the championship competition lasting until the end of the season. Even this would be enjoyable for me and it would be a good sign for Barcelona considering next season. I think it's impossible for Barcelona to catch up to Real Madrid's points. because it is impossible for Real Madrid to be careless by dropping a lot of
points in the remaining 8 matches in La Liga. Real Madrid a great experienced team, they will try to maintain their performance so they can
play consistently until the end of the season. Proven after being defeated by Barcelona, in the next match Real Madrid won again against Celta.
So Real Madrid will try to win all the remaining games, so for me Real Madrid will most likely win the La Liga trophy. Then for Barcelona it is likely

Barcelona are not safe in the second position now considering their current points between Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are still both 57. Barcelona have 1 match in hand which will allow them to keep 3 points clear of their 2 tough competitors, but there is always a bad chance for them. the results they will get.

This season Barcelona's real target is to qualify for the Champions League next season and win the Europa League title, I hope it will come true for them in the end. Xavi has changed this team for the better than ever and so far they have had a fantastic record for 2022. This week Barcelona will face Levante in the league, but I want them to first win tomorrow's Europa League match against Eintracht Frankfurt.
