I think the fact that they are the only one close to real madrid made them more motivated to win every match, and they do have a remarkably good balanced team in all positions, today's win made them only three points away from Real Madrid temporarily, and real madrid will be facing Villareal which will really hard for them to get three points, Sevilla are making the fight for the title alive again but I doubt they can win la Liga.

It had been long I saw Sevilla played the way they did against Elche today. Their performance was impressive, the level of cooperation between the players was also great. They ended the game with 2-0 score, and decreased their points gap behind Real Madrid to 3. However, if Real Madrid fail to win against Villarreal tomorrow, it will result to their position be threaten. I will really love to see Sevilla overtake Madrid. At least, it will make the League more interesting.

In the first half there were not many chances created there but for the second half it looks like Sevilla are starting to want to increase their tempo but indeed there are still no goals created.
I feel it will end with the score 0-0 even though sevilla are attacking but some of the saves made by Edgar Badia are quite good and their defense is still quite solid at the moment.
I think it will be a loss for sevilla if they can only get a draw in this match

In the first half neither team had many shots on target and Sevilla had only 2 shots on target and Elche only 1, Sevillah dominated the game a bit and it was a pretty even game.
there must be a change in the second half for both teams, but I am sure in the second half Sevilla will definitely score because of all the home games Sevilla always win.

They are 6 points ahead and even if they lost this game and Sevilla won, then it is 3 points and that is not really a big deal if you ask me.

This why I do not feel like it is such a big deal, this game is still important but it is not as important as people think it is for Real, they make it sound like it is make or break situation or like Sevilla would win the league or something and that is not the case, the leadership doesn't even change hands.

We are nearly at the end of the first half of the Sevilla - Elche match now. And Sevilla are playing a more dominant football but still there is no goal in the match. But as long as they keep it up, they are very likely to get ahead any time. But this wouldn't be enough for Sevilla because Elche are a real fighter these days. They might somehow find a way to score the equalizer after that. It is important for Sevilla to get a win here not to be under the risk of getting away from Real Madrid more in the standings.
