Nothing special, that's normal for a football match. Any team can lose even if it is the favorite to win, it can always happen due to luck and effectiveness of attacks and creation of chances.

In the last 5 match, Real Madrid have not been able to maximize their chances of winning. You are right here nothing is special as we are watching some dramatically changes happening in Spanish League table with very bad performance from few teams like Atletico Madrid, Real Sociedad and Royal Vallecano these all were handling top ranks but now struggling badly and staying at respectively 4, 6 and 8 which giving Barcelona good advantage for having their position into top 4 which is now possible as now they are top in form with having 11 points from last 5 matches and all others struggling specially now leaders are also having just 8 points and second spot holder are having 9 points so suddenly all things opening, and we can watch some more changes in coming weeks as Real Madrid are also going to face PSG in their first match of knock out stage in Champions League.

Finish perfectly? Do you mean to get the La Liga title? Of course, it is likely not to happen in this season. Looking sore for Valencia, 2 goals in injured time made them fail to bring three points. That's their consequence because they feel they've won in added time. But I was quite surprised by the seven minutes of extra time. It seemed too long for this match. There wasn't a lot of time wasted in the match, an extra 2-3 minutes seemed like enough for this match. Of course for atletico this is a good point to keep in the UCL zone this season.

It was a lucky week for Sevilla. They turned the game around after being 0-2 behind against Celta Vigo in their home match. It was still a 2-2 draw at the end maybe but the interesting part is not this result. The interesting part is that Real Madrid lost points too in a comfortable match. They hosted Elche and it seemed like an easy deal. But it wasn't. Just as Celta Vigo, Elche also got 2-0 ahead against Real Madrid. I was really worried that Real Madrid were even going to lose. But they ended it by 2-2 like Sevilla. As a result, the gap between them is still 4 points. Grin

But Sevilla might not be this lucky in the coming matches.

Betis weren't a very clear favourite in that game but it didn't matter to them anyway. Bookmakers were expecting Espanyol to put up a good fight against them as it seems. But they were wrong about it. Espanyol got ahead first, yeah. But this didn't keep Betis away from a solid victory like 4-1. This was unexpected for even Betis fans I guess. Grin

They are one of the special teams of the season and I hope that they can keep this up. It is nice to see different teams at the top also.

Espanyol were beaten brutally last week. Although, their were probably the host, but they could not withstand Betis's squad, and lost with 3 goals difference. Betis are likely to end this season at the 3rd place, because Sevilla are keeping a nice gap from them. I will really love to see them play in the Champions League next season. Real Betis players are cooperative, which mades it difficult most of the time for them to lose a game. They are indeed doing greatly and have only lost 6 matches so far in the La Liga.
