I don't know what happened with Madrid, in 2 games against Elche they were very difficult to score. even indeed in this match they had to work hard and exert full strength and even had to fall behind with 2 goals.

I took Real Madrid's win today in a multibet. This match is really interesting because Elche has not won a game of this fixture and seeing that these guys have actually got an early goal thanks to benzema failing to convert am expecting a correct score of 2-1 in favor of madrid as its the most likely outcome based on passed results. But anything can happen as its just the first half.

A pretty good comeback from Athletico because with two goals in extra time they avoided defeat.
but as you said their poor back line to fall behind two goals first is not a good thing for them and like it or not they have to be able to patch up their weaknesses here if they still want to compete.
but fortunately they have a substitute striker who is quite good because their core striker is still not adapting well and Cunha and Correa's performances are very good as substitutes.

But they were able to win after losing 0-2, usually such results give the team confidence. Maybe this means that Atlético has passed the crisis period.

Athletico de-madrid has tried thier best right from history counts and since the players they had by then have all grown old over time,the new ones haven't understood the quality gameplay that was performed by thier past super stars and even if they do, they haven't gotten these insight and coordination : it sometimes depends on the coach but this time, I think it's on the players specifically, the defenders ...
I use to see sometimes that the opponent are even privileged to the extent that they break out defensive play so easily...the likes of Villarreal, Valencia, rayo etc, has always been a problem to them...
Sometimes, the coach knows what to do but the team doesn't support with funds since it's limited...
If they become sober and train on understanding and having good gameplay, I think their resolutions will begin from there.
