This is not a points match, it's a 1 point fight. This match is a cup match. The result was clear and Real scored with Valverde in extra time. Barcelona won the appreciation of me and others with this game. Frankly, everyone expected an easy win from Real Madrid before the match. Barcelona, on the other hand, could not escape defeat even though they caught a draw twice. That's why it's called "El Classico".

Well, Barcelona have been nothing shot of amazing with the level of play in this game, I didn't expect anything less as it is Super Cup but, judging from there bad play and stands in the Laliga, this is a good play. Though, the game is lost already as they are lagging by a goal and with very few minutes on the timer. I would say, they did there best but, Real Madrid now is there better and very much deserve this win.

Edited: the final whistle is gone after extra time and it's a
Barcelona 2-3 Real Madrid.

Given Barcelona's track during the season, this was not only a good game worth of the historic derby for the year, but also an statement about the spirit of football and the teams that grow stronger under difficult circumstances and can deliver a good game when they really want to do so. It is even suspicious that Barca can actually play that well and is however flunking big time any chance of being in the top this year.

Atletico Madrid have two cup games up next. One of them is against Athletic Bilbao in the Super Cup. And the other one is after this one and it is against Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey. Atletico Madrid should see these games as a chance to reach their strong version again and they should be focusing on winning both of them.
