I didn't like Atletico Madrid in their Villarreal game. They barely secured a 2-2 draw and it wouldn't be surprising if Villarreal won this game. Because I believe that they deserved it too. Atletico Madrid were terrible in the first half. They didn't find proper goal chances. They tried to be better in the second half but their performance was still at an inadequate level. If Atletico Madrid want to climb the places in the standings and be in top 4 at the end, they need to do much better than this.
Atletico madrid this season have really gone out of the way of the championship competition, the negative results they continue to get this season make a pretty big points gap from real madrid, I think now Simoene have a tough job to restore atletico madrid form, the draw against villareal is correct It's true that it looks like Atletico Madrid has lost their winning mentality right now, I don't know why until now it looks like Atletico have not been active in the transfer market and I don't think the fans will be happy with their current form.

When I look at the current view of the standings of the league, I can see that Real Madrid and Sevilla both have opened a big gap with the rest of the teams. The gap between Real Madrid and Sevilla is 5 points and Sevilla have a match missing. And Sevilla are 10 points ahead of the team at the 3rd position which are Betis now. We are still in the middle of the season and many things can change. But I still don't think that the first two will change until the end. We will just see a competition for the championship between them.
real madrid have played 21 games at the moment,real madrid have collected 49 points,and their rivals sevilla are in second place,sevilla have collected 44 points,but sevilla have only played 20 games at the moment,they both are now strong contenders this year, but I personally think that Real Madrid have more chances of winning this year, because of their very consistent performances, and Banzema also played very well.. 
I do not really bet much on La Liga but the cup game tonight looks like good value for either team depending on what you believe will happen. Both Barcelona and Atletico aren't small clubs and they have good squads, while they are competing with weaker clubs for UCL zone. I don't know when you started fotball but they've been a threat to Real Madrid and Barcelona's when we talk abiut title. They have been consistently pushing them for the past few years. They're the only team that held the trophy outside those two teams in the past decade.Atletico Madrid are a good team. Last season was of course great with the championship, but now they seem to come up far too short. And not a lot of things have changed in this team, have they? Suarez, Griezmann, there are worse vanguards. Still plenty of matches to play of course.

Atletico and Barcelona were unstable a few weeks ago. In the last five games they have lost three times. Good development is actually at Barcelona, Since Xavi came Barcelona little changed they have not lost in the last five games. Their chances are still very much, they are better and have the experience to enter the UCL Zone in the final grades. Barcelona still deserve to progress to UCL next season.
Right and it was one of Barcelona's final goals this season. Real Madrid won't lose the title in my opinion even though Sevilla looks set to compete until the end of the season. I think Barcelona are no longer focused on getting the title, but participation in the Champions League next season would be a realistic target for them. So they shouldn't be burdened at the moment and they should just be trying to win more.

Sevilla are doing a wonderful job by maintaining their great form lately. They had a home game against Getafe the last time and they won that one also. Maybe it wasn't a comfortable victory but the most important thing is the result of course. We already know that Sevilla likes to play safe. We don't see them winning their games by a big margin very often. Now, they are following Real Madrid 5 points behind and they have one missing game at the same time. They can make this gap 2 suddenly if they win that game. I love this competition for now and I hope that it can continue till the last weeks of the season.
Real Madrid have 5 points behind Sevilla but least one match more for Sevilla and depend if success get three points again make most competitive with different two points only, I think is not safety for Madrid because they less chance when loss from Getafe although success defeat Valencia last week. Sevilla looks different in this season after success playing well and keep consistent after 20 games they can keep stable on second position standing. Maybe only Sevilla as competitor for Madrid to get La Liga trophy and keep touch on top performance will see interested for Madrid.
But on the other hand I think Real madrid's dominance will be undeniable this season and indeed they are the only team that is a strong candidate to win this season and other clubs in La Liga will not be able to catch up I think.

I do not believe that Real is afraid of Sevilla's persecution.
