Yes, even if Atletico and barcelona can improve their performance in the near future, I do not believe these two teams will be a threat to Madrid. As I said before, basically these two teams still have a chance for the position because they just need to get rid of Betis and Rayo Vallecano, it looks easy. Real Madrid played a really tough match against Athletic Bilbao last night. But it was surprising to see three goals in only the first ten minutes. But after that, we saw zero goal. Real Madrid managed to keep the score at 2-1 very well until the last moment. Benzema had another great day that he scored 2 goals and played a big role in this win. Now, Sevilla will need to defeat Cadiz to keep the 5-point gap.

Maybe there are still rumours about Barcelona to sign Haaland but I don't think that it will happen. First of all, Barcelona are in no condition to afford him as far as I know. And secondly, they are having a really bad season and I don't think that Haaland would like to come here and have big problems. Dortmund's condition is much better than Barcelona now. So, they had better forget about this transfer if they even plan to do so.

I don't think it's like that, when they were together in real madrid with the BBC trio (Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo) actually Benzema also appeared quite good but indeed his popularity and goal instinct did lose to Ronaldo but did not consider it an obstacle because of Benzema's performance still good.
For now Ronaldo is no longer around, Bale's performance is uncertain and now it's rarely used in the Madrid line-up, so automatically the focus of all players is on Benzema and this is what makes him a priority now.

Real Madrid was able to grab three points in Week 19 after previously being held to a draw by Cadiz, this victory took the El Real team away from their closest competitors, Sevilla. And if we talk about Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, which usually sit in the top 3 of the standings, this season has been a tough season for Atletico following their 4 defeats in a row. On the other hand, Barcelona have struggled from the start this season due to the crisis they are currently experiencing.

Regarding Benzema's current performance I agree he is really outstanding without the presence of CR7, but this is not a factor without CR7 on the pitch I think Carlo Ancelotti has polished it better this season, even when ronaldo was around benzema was already a good striker.

Benzema has always been a great stricker and it seems his strick had to improve this season keeping Real Maldrid at the top of the league. Would say Ronaldo was his major set back to some extent it looks Pretty much true but that didn't stop him even when Ronaldo played alongside him. I think giving more credit to Carlos Ancelotti who took over from Zidane and restructured the team

Atlético seem to be an easy team to concede this season and it's a shame the defense that was in the past few seasons was very strong, but this season Atletico's performance in attack and defense has been poor. Real Madrid are at the stage at which dropping points seems to be a sin to them. They don't want to drop points at all,knowing fully well that if they do,they might start a losing streak.
Despite the tension in that game,they were still composed and managed to get to the last minute with out allowing Bilbao to score them.And that was really a nice one.

I agree that the Bilbao vs Real Madrid match was very interesting, because in that match 3 goals were created in just 10 minutes. After the next
80 minutes there were no more goals scored, and both teams also played quite well and created some chances. Statistically, Real Madrid had more

Yeah it was kinda baffling seriously, makes me wonder if football is programmed sometimes.lol
They had their goals very early and the Game play was so smooth, touching every player's leg with the ball in even circulation even made it more spectacular...
Benzema is really in good form this period and has been scoring almost in every match ....(almost.lol)
We're still hoping maybe he'll score a brace soon.
