I am 100% sure that Messi will return to Barcelona, but the question is what his function will be by then? He could probably become president whenever he wants. Or manager or whatever else there is.

The situation where Messi leaves PSG already next year would probably arise when Mbappe leaves, and even Neymar leaves for another club. I doubt that Messi would stay then. On the other hand there are so many things that can happen next year. It is also the World Cup year. I don't see any point in bringing Messi back to Barcelona. Atletico Madrid should be able to win their next league match which is against Espanyol away. Espanyol are the last champions in the La Liga 2. But they don't seem to be very effective about scoring so far. They couldn't score any goal in first three matches so far but conceded only one goal also. Atletico Madrid might have difficulty in breaking their defense in the first half. But they will make it in the second half I believe. And as Griezmann has joined the team also, they should be stronger on attacking now.

No need to be surprised if there are coaches who buy a lot of players according to their country, this is indeed done by several coaches. Apart from
Koeman and Val Gaal, there is Nuno Espirito Santo who bought a lot of Portuguese players when he was coach of Wolves. If we look at when Wenger

No, it's just because Messi is a player with a unique talent. There will not be many players who can match the achievements and skills possessed by Messi. I don't think it is that unusual that coaches of a certain nationality also like to have players of their respective nationality on their team. It is not a must of course, but it does happen at times. I still stick to my opinion that Koeman isn't the best coach for Barcelona anyway. I can also hardly imagine that he got along well with Messi.

Messi's play style is indeed so unique that it is unlikely we'll get to see that once again anytime soon. He is pretty much the only one who can frequently play slalom with 8 opponents over the whole pitch within just a couple of seconds. I guess the strongest we'll get to see are Mbappe and Haaland for the years to come.

You can't expect something like that from some 18 year old kid, it is going to be very tough for the kid as well to wear that jersey because it may wear him down too.

Some matches have been postponed due to schedule conflicts between La Liga schedule and World Cup Qualification in South America a lot of players in La Liga are from there so they are asked to play for their country, this problem doesn't happen to Madrid because maybe all the players don't come from there so they have no reason to ask for a schedule change. Apart from the contract part that makes the decision in the hands of PSG / AlKhelaifi and we all know how he see things differently...Whether PSG achieved the most awaited title or not, they will try to keep Messi to get the title again or to get it if they will fail this season. Besides, Barca will not pay much to get old Messi back, unless it is a free deal + low salary. It is just theory and we don't know how Barcelona will become next 2 seasons. Messi can have his plan to return to Barcelona after two years in PSG but will he get acceptance from Barcelona to return and end his career there.

Next 3 years, we will know.
