Tonight, Real Madrid are starting the season by their match against Alaves away. But they have a lot of injured players now. Carvajal, Ceballos, Kroos, Marcelo, Mariano and Mendy won't be able to play in this match. But Benzema can still carry them to the victory. Alaves are not a very tough opponent so it shouldn't be so hard for Real Madrid to win this.
With Messi gone, if they can get away from the horrible contract of Griezzman as well, then they are going to be fine, busquets and pique will be next in line because they are not getting any younger and still getting 10+ million a year. That trio alone worths 70 million a year, think about it, if they can get rid of 70 million a year on top of already getting rid of Messi, that is 140 million a year they are not paying just for 4 players. Surely it is hard to replace Messi, but he was getting older anyway, and it is not that hard to replace Griezmann+pique+busquets trio, you can definitely find players that can replace those players.
With 140 million extra in your pocket every year, Barcelona will be able to get any player they want, hold it for 4 years and they have 600 million, pay any transfer fee for any super star plus any salary they want and they are back at the top of the world.

it is almost impossible to think that Barcelona will focus on eliminating veteran players slowly and try to save money and start looking for replacement in the next 2-3 years with much lower salaries than their veteran players. I don't think it will solve their financial problem because without the star players the team would not be as great as it is today.
If they want to buy another star player, then they also have to pay expensive contract and salaries and still maybe the player is not as expected. Check out Dembele, Coutinho and some of Barcelona's new signings. I don't see him making a big contribution to the team and even more often they sit on the bench or go on loan to other club before being sold permanently.
The problem is that there are so many greedy advisors and there is so much attention paid to strong talents that it is really hard these days to sign players who have the ability to become the next top stars while only receiving modest salaries. Barcelona is paying the bill now for making all the debt in the past. I wonder how Real Madrid is going to deal with that, too. They are also heavily indebted, but Barcelona seems to be more at the centre of the discussion when it comes to financial deficits.

Because Getafe's players attacked enough. But Getafe failed to score due to Valencia's defensive gameplay. Yet congratulations to the Valencia team, they won the first match.

Busquet shows he can be well in the Euro 2020 and he control midfield area very well. However, Busquet need to have a good defensive player to help him because he is very low. Barcelona has Pedri and De Jong but they are not strong in defensive. Unfortunately, they will begin a new season with what they have and Koeman will have to adapt to limited players he has.
Pique is worse than Busquet in my opinion and if Barcelona has to choose between Pique and Busquet to replace first, they would choose Pique.

With their reveal on financial trouble from Messi case, they will not be able to sign with other star players and give them high salary in coming seasons. They have to clear players like Coutinho, Dembele from their team to reserve Aguero, Depay for the new season. 
Wow, how can the first match be colored with two red cards, this is really a tough match it seems. It looks like Valencia were a bit lucky to score first and finally made a tight defense to secure the win, even though Getafe had plenty of chances to equalize or even win the game. But yes, this is football I predict a 1-1 draw in the superbru tournament, I should have been very close to the correct score but then again, 11 players ahead in a few minutes of the game still couldn't get Getafe to score.

This time, I wonder which team will start the season better than the other. I feel myself closer to a Valencia victory. But it will be a really close game I think. Valencia may have a big difficulty in winning this one.
Although this season valencia are not very active in the transfer market, but i see if their squad is quite good and compact and it can be seen when they are able to win six of the seven pre-season games, including against a big team like AC milan, and it looks like the first match between Valencia Vs Getafe will be quite an interesting match and most likely in my opinion if valencia will win the with a score of 3-1 in that match.Maybe not 3-1 but Valencia are leading the game 1-0 now as we are entering the last twenty minutes of the game. They got a red card in the 3rd minute but still scored in the 11th minute. Getafe have a ball possession of 78% in the second half. But they haven't got any good result for themselves. They have only 1 shot in the second half which is not even on target. But it still is a risky score as Getafe can equalize it easily.

Keep choose and favorite Barca to win from Bilbao although without Messi right now, I think Depay become most scoring goal for Barcelona and help by Griezmann most easy for Barcelona to win from Bilbao. Barcelona have completed team now after Messi left club and only with midfielder they need new and young player, I see Bosquest is not strong again for Barcelona.

Both you and Slow Death expecting the game to end with a draw. After 40 minutes of the match, the result is 1-0 for Valencia thanks to a penalty kick but they lack a player after an early red card. The question is could they resist for the remaining 50 minutes? 
Valencia has had glorious years in the past, with regular participation in the Champions League. but it's not so sure and stable anymore. If they would lose 0-1 at home to Getafe then you can speak of a shame. You don't hear much about Valencia in the media either.
