The association is mutually beneficial as he's now been considered a leading figure in a top team.

Atlético Madrid is totally looking for the title now, they showed some real good football in the last games. Again, even if RM is now there in the first place, do not forget that AM still has 3 games to recover.

If Real Madrid can maintain their form, they will be in a good position at the end of the season. Atletico Madrid is in a great position now. They are in good form. I can understand why Real Madrid board decided to sell Modric, because Modric is 35 years old, which is already an old for football player.
If you look at Modric's contract which will expire in 2021, it is likely that earlier next year Modric will be sold at an affordable price rather
than releasing Modric for free. What is interested in Modric is not only Tottenham but MLS is also interested in bringing in Modric, we'll see
if Modric will soon rejoin Tottenham or choose a new challenge in MLS.

If it really happens, I am very worried that Madrid will start to lose points, especially for the big matches. They are key players, losing both Benzema and Ramos for a long time will be a disaster. Real Madrid has no substitutions who have the same quality and experiences as they have.

Indeed, Benzema as striker and Ramos as defender and scorer are an important part of Real Madrid strategy, dunno how it will perform if those two gets injured for a long time. Of course the players you mentioned are important too. BTW, I heard Mourinho is trying to make a contract with Modric.
Today's 3 points are crucial to tie up with ATM which still has the advantage of +6 points if it will win the other 2 lacking games!

I expected Granada to show some restraint and they sure did, especially in the first half. Even though Real Madrid dominated most aspects of the game, It wasn't really an easy win as they had to dig in deep to get the win.

Yes i think they will win this match even if granada team is doing well this last matches but real madrid are strong in laliga and they won against atletico so i do not think they will waste that oppurtunity and let them gain more points difference and benezema is scoring lots of goals.
