I've watched Barcelona vs Mallorca match yesterday night and I must say that it has been one of the most beautiful events I've seen in a long while. Pure spectacle from Messi & the Co although Griezman is still playing under his ability. Maybe he needs more time to adapt to the team.

Heading to my prediction for today - I'm placing a solist 2 on Sevilla. They are on a winning streak and they need this victory in order to remain close to Barca and Real. Not only that but in the last 4 H2H Sevilla won. Moreover Osasuna has quite a few injured players so they won't play at their full team capacity.

We can't be sure anymore that Barcelona will win La Liga again because the points are very the same as Real Madrid while Mardrid is now starting to improve and win continuously in a row.
In 2 weeks we will face El Classico, where we will determine which team wins. Let's wait

So Real looked good in their win but tell you, watching Barca last night just made me so happy. Messi hattrick aside (wtf Messi why you want retire?) even seeing Griezmann get his goal plus assist, and all our forwards getting on the scoresheet, this is the Barca that deserves to win the La Liga again. And I'm glad that's our focus for now, we can wait for CL patiently and without hype.

Sure our defence as usual is shitty but if we always have a feared forward line, everything will be okay.

They scored two already, although the match is already all but decided with Barca already scoring four goals. However, Barcelona's defense still raises lots of concerns. And in a quite uncharacteristic manner, Ter Stegen made a mistake that led to a goal for the opposition.
The attack was quite lethal and put on a show tonight, it was nice to see Griezmann get on the score sheet.

Barca probably is going to win easy, Mallorca isn't dangerous opponent for Barca, especially at home.
Valencia derby was simply amazing. Levante were leading 2:0, but Valencia made great comeback and scored 4 goals and won the game.

That was a good win for Real Madrid today.
Now, after the game with Brugge in Champions League they have 3 difficult games in a row, with Valencia, Barcelona and Bilbao in the La Liga. If they get the maximum from those games especially against barcelona they will be the favorite to win the title!

Barcelona will be facing Mallorca and i am expecting a goal fest from Barcelona and i am not expecting Mallorca to score a goal as they are not having a good away record.

Levante vs Valencia, i am expecting both teams to score considering their past records as both teams have scored goals when they faced in the past four games and i hope Valencia to win the match here.

As expected that the game might would have a very low scoring goal, the match even ended goalless ! Atletico madrid well known defended very well and given the fact that the head to head says there a lot of draw matches in this clash.

I've got a not bad odds @3.2 for the under 1.5 goals itself, not sure recently I didn't go as extreme as few weeks ago when I chasing goalless game @10 on Barcelona . Not a bad result tough, I wonder there's someone put the money on atletico yesterday? Must be painful.

But as we said that Ronaldo's performance was decreased same goes for Messi. The difference is that his performance was decreased in a lower pace. Let's hope that next year the Golden Ball would go to another player such as Lewandowski.

Atletico really have a harder time scoring goals this season. They indeed still have one of the best defenses in Europe. However, they also became one of the teams that always struggled to win due to the lack of productivity of their goals. I felt the results of the match would be draw again.

Enough about Ronaldo, he is not even in La Liga anymore. Enough about Messi I love him but we will have to move on from him sooner or later, let's all enjoy him while we can. Enough about popularity contests, it's like a beauty pageant for men, I never pay attention to it:)

In fact, the general performance for all season-period within the last season and the current one has decreased gradually. Cristiano Ronaldo has still be one of the best play, a super star, who can change match results with one striking moment but as I said his general performance decreased as unavoidable consequence of his ages.

No, you guys thinking too much! Although seeing Ramos, Marcelo and Modric in FIFA Best XI this year indicates that Real Madrid commands too much power over these awards ceremony but still Modric's win wasn't Real's attempt to damage Ronaldo's image.

The real reason why Modric won last year is because journalists give too much importance to international trophies. Why do you think among all Man City players, Mahrez and Bernardo Silva made to Top 10 this year? It is because both of them won international trophies (Mahrez won African Cup, Silva won Nations League). Similarly FIFA World Cup had huge impact on journalists' voting last year. Modric was suddenly hyped and came to spotlight after scoring stunner against Argentina in group round, then he and his team went to Finals. Although it was collective effort of the team, but we football fans have tendency to find hero in every team. Thus fans chose Modric to be that hero for Croatia and his reputation escalated pretty quickly. Suddenly he became most underrated player of the world, people forgot the brilliance Messi (he was awesome in league but played awful in CL and Internationals) and Ronaldo did that year.

That's the reason why Modric won, bandwagon effect. Even Virgil was pumped this year due to bandwagon effect, he was good but not extra-ordinary. For me Sadio Mane played better than him last season. But people's tendency to find hero made Vigil, the Hero of Liverpool.

Real madrid really mean it 'to do everything' to destroy cr7 , what kind action they have done to those journalists, coaches and captains around the globe to not selected cristiano hmmm? A couple millions euros ? must be worth it lol

Under 1.5 goals got me thinking with the low odds @3 , will give it a try later once one of them scored 1 goal , I'll immediately bet for under 1.5 goals , must be a decent odds

@Trofo you are right its not a big deal just rumour that Real use his power to damage CR7 world watching all who is how is doing.

I somehow doubt that Real would ever use his power to gift reward to Messi who is symbol of their biggest rival Barca. I could believe in that conspiracy if Van Dijk was the winner.

For the same reason, the previous golden ball should be for Ronaldo if this one went to Messi.
2 years ago Cr7 did an amazing season with a ton of goals, the reward to Modric was a Joke.

The conpirency theory is that real uses his power to do anything they can do to "damage" cr7.

I couldn't agree any less with you, Of course VVD was phenomenal last season, but in all its entirety Messi performance was equally has incredible to say the least, but the truth is that Messi and Ronaldo have both raised the bar so high that performance like that of Messi during the last season is seen as the norm for both players, but If an average players does that, the praises for them will be next to none.
Both Messi and Ronaldo are becoming victims of their own performance.
