There is nothing as betrayal on changing teams in club football. Club football is a commercial platform where transfers are regulated.
Ronaldo is a Portuguese, he was just an employee of Real Madrid. He went to another club legally for his own benefit.
Messi too don't necessary be involved with Barcelona forever, tough he joined the team in his early age, it was not Barcelona that picked him up and made his life. He was already a promising player before he decided to give a trail for Barcelona.
Messi is a much humble player and he didn't wanted any negative image for himself and the club he served. He wanted to leave the club but decided not to fight Barcelona in court.

Luis could make a change in the team which he's joining and it could be more advantage if he can get another support of a good player too in football. Seeing his record as a striker and able to win 6 trophies in different leaue and had even make 400+ career goals is an exemplary achievement that a football player could make.

Yeah I agree with you to wait and see what will going to happen with Messi if he will going to join in other team the atletico madrid. Probably Barcelona will going to taste their own medicine and will make regrets for letting this to happen.

@MCobian it’s confirmed that the staff of Barcelona will be facing wage cuts, but as of now their player’s will be spared subject to certain conditions being fulfilled which will be disclosed in coming days. Also a vote of no confidence against Barcelona President has been accepted, and in coming days it’ll be put to test which will definitely effect Barcelona current campaign, as the opposite Presidential candidate isn’t keen to keep Koeman as Barcelona’s head coach.

I agree that they have added more quality and certainly more depth to their squad and there are 2 of my countryman there too, but I don't see them as favorites to win the Champions league. If they get some lucky draw and some circumstances go in their favor, like no injuries they do have the potential though.

Yes. But this season doesn't look like it's going to be any better, even with a new coach. Barcelona are really in a transition period now. They've shipped out a lot of players that they didn't want, making huge financial losses on them as well... but they've not really brought new players in to replace them. moving to M City is the right thing for Messi to take, his future at Barca in my opinion is already dim.. Barca's debt is increasing day by day and it will not be easy to solve in fast time. M City is the right place for Messi to wait for his retirement from football, if he does not take this opportunity, surely his salary will be late in paying and he will loss..
