Haha, Tiki taka in Barcelona is gone bro. I don't think there is anyone who will be able to restore that style of play there. Sometimes it also depends on the group of players at the right club at the right time.
I also think the same as you, bro. In my humble opinion, I assume Tiki-Taka style only fits with the combination of xavi-iniesta-messi. These three legends really make that style be scary other teams because they fully control the games in 90 minutes. They make no chance for opposite players to do a counter-attack at that time. But with no xavi-iniesta in Barcelona team, there are many chances for a counter-attack, so Tiki-Taka style failed to win the match. Well, basically Barca is missing someone like xavi & iniesta as no one can have the same or almost the same quality as them till now.

Who else to know their cool tiki taka amazing system better than Xavi? Dude could bring Barcelona back to old tactics and strategies and he could be basically the next Pep Guardiola for the team.

I could see that situation making Messi and everyone very happy as well and would result with a lot of cups for them.

Have you seen how Pep has failed to regenerate that style of football play in any other club he has managed despite having the money to buy anyone or how Arsenal lost that 1-touch-and-pass kind of football way before Arsene Wenger, the inventor, even left the club.

The coach is not to blame, but the one who appointed him there. The players were not bought by the coach, and the current coach does not decide anything either. it's all in the hands of Messi and his friends.
I agree, I got your point. Indeed, there is someone who should be responsible for the selection of a coach, including the current coach. If Barcelona cannot win La Liga trophy or Champions League trophy, it is not only because of the bad performance of both the coach and players only. But someone who makes the transfer decisions both for the coach and players has a contribution as well.

Whether or not Barcelona win the Champions League, there will be a new coach in the new season.
It should be, Bartomeu as the FC Barcelona President won't be satisfied with the current achievement. Also, the fans definitely will ask for something different for better performance for the Barcelona team, including by sacking the current coach.

There was talks about bring in Xavi for a future position as a coach, there was also another one that I can't remember right now, it was a guy that Messi wanted and a guy that Pep Guardiola said he was his idol, I can't really remember the name of the guy but he was an older coach. Between two of those, I believe that current coach will not have too much time to coach barcelona for a very long time.

But if they really want to get Xavi to coach barcelona one day, that could be epic and they could deal with ANY coach for another one season, if they keep the current one or get anyone, they just need Xavi to gain one more year experience with Barcelona and after that he could take the reigns and he would be awesome. Who else to know their cool tiki taka amazing system better than Xavi? Dude could bring Barcelona back to old tactics and strategies and he could be basically the next Pep Guardiola for the team.

Josep Maria Bartomeu, president of Barcelona, now claims that Quique Setien will remain the coach of Barcelona next season and that it is a long-term project.
Does he really believe in that and what will Messi say about it?
The saga continues and in Barcelona it is never boring.

In my opinion what the president of Barcelona said about the future of Quique Setien actually does not mean that the position of
Quique Setien is safe. Although Quique Setien's contract will expire in 2022, but it depends on Setien whether he is able to win the
Champions League this year. If it fails, I think Barcelona will fire Setien. Moreover, the Champions League is the only title that can
get Barcelona this season.

I think so too.
Barcelona has been in a great crisis for a long time, both financially and in a crisis of results.
Such things are not tolerated in Barcelona and it's known who is always the main culprit, it's the coach and he pays the price for failure.
Messi and the main players are not happy with the coach, there are no results and the club president will soon have new elections for his position.
So regardless of what the club president said, I think a coach can save his job in Barcelona only if he wins the European Champions League.

Not a wise choice from Bertomeu.
If he wanted to make a long term plan in order to reform the club, he should have chosen a coach that has a lot of experience in plans like this one and have a lot of connections to manager's of young players. Setien is not a guy for this kind of plans.

Slava Ukraini!
I just give an example for this, why? Because, he can re-build Barcelona after failed to be La Liga champions for four years. I don't say barcelona need to be hire him again. Because Is not easy for any coach for rebuild the clubs after failed to be a champion in few years. In this case, if Barcelona sold more than 8 players, they need an architect. Guardiola? He just good because he was easy to buy a star players. And when he can bring Barcelona as champions, he was lucky have a player from Rijkaard.
Well, Rijkard haven't worked as manager since 2013, it seems that he don't work as manager anymore. I think it would be suicide to go into Barcelona after such long break. And in general, manager position is very hot in Barcelona right now, I think not every manager would accept such offer.
I really don't know who would be good choice for Barca. I would love to see Xavi, but not now, maybe few years later. Pochettino? Personally, I don't want to see him in Barcelona at all. Koeman would be interesting choice, but it's not likely that he is going to leave Netherlands national team.
While Kluivert or B team coach Pimienta have not enough experience to manage such club.

Do you think Barca can win this Champion's League basing on the way they played the remaining matches of La Liga?
Personally I don't think they can. Whatever Josep Maria Bartomeu says, It's just done to bring confidence in the club and players but is not a guarantee that Quique can't be sacked at any time when need arises and he's far from the kind of manager that would rebuild Barcelona from Ashes.

hmph..
Why did you choose Frank Rijkaard? Indeed, he has experienced training Barcelona for five years. For five years he has been a winner one UCL champion, twice a Spanish league champion, twice spanish super cup champion and one time the best coach. He was great in 2003-2008, but maybe this season will be different because I think the spanish league now has tighter competition between clubs.

Xavi has a great thought and as he says "People go faster than what I think." But we will see it in another year with his UEFA pro license that will allow him to coach big clubs in Europe.

On July 25 Xavi tested positive for Covid19, an asymptomatic case that he happily overcame. He went back to work.

If fan can choose a suitable coach for Barcelona then I will try to make my choice at Guardiola. He is one of the coaches who truly understand the philosophy of Barcelona game in this modern era and his success in the past has made him the best coach for several leagues. Spain, Germany, and England are some proof that he is able to provide positive things for the club and that is a champion.

Maybe xavy is the future coach who is loved by many fans, and I like it too. But he has to gain more experience as the main capital to coach a club as big as Barcelona even though he is a former main player who gave Barcelona a lot of success.

@BITCOIN4X I know that every Barcelona fan yet wishes that Pep comes back to restores their glory days, but it won’t be possible for this season because he’s yet under contract with Manchester City until 2021. Also next year I highly doubt that he’ll come back because I expect him to take a break, and as for as Xavi is concerned he’s yet not ready mentally to coach a club like Barcelona.

Changing coach and some executive that had problem with Messi may will make him stay. But I don't think it can be happens. If they released 12 players and Messi refused to extend his contract next year, maybe Barca need a coach like Rijkaard who can build a strong team from limited player. Messi's contract will end June 2021, most player will extend his contract before mid season, it will shocked Barca fans if Messi really being a free transfer players.

Is Jiangsu Suning, a man whose wealth is estimated at billions of dollars, the person who will manage to work a miracle and bring Messi to Inter?
It’s no secret that Messi is very unhappy at Barcelona.
He is unhappy that the club has not found a real replacement for Xavi, he is dissatisfied with the coach, with the president of the club, with this year's results...
Unlike Real, the financial crisis due to the corona virus has hit Barcelona much harder.
Is there an opportunity here for something more and the departure of Messi?

No sane coach will come to Barcelona while there is Messi. While there is a Messi no one can implement his own game scheme, he cannot buy the players he needs. Messi is a big problem for Barcelona at the moment. But even without Messi Barcelona cannot.
Barcelona has been dealing with many problems those last years related or not with Messi. He is a key player and games tactics mostly rely on him whether the coach likes it or not.
New coach will surely have dozen problems with Barca this year, cannot buy new players, have many old ones, conflicts between some of them...
That's the whole problem. Integrating Messi into a coach's tactical plans is very difficult. So as long as there is Messi and his friends, a normal coach will not come to Barcelona.

~ It's like when Ronaldo  left from Real Madrid , but Madrid has proven that even without him they can win La Liga, what about Barcelona?
No, it is a bit different case! Ronaldo makes Real Madrid be stronger but he is not the soul of the team. Ronaldo was also not a captain team. While Messi, he is a captain and the soul of Barcelona team for years. Losing Messi on the team will instantly decrease the strength of the team as a whole because they have relied on Messi for years. Also, no Barcelona attackers with a big influence as big as Messi there.

It was kind of expected, they will have presidential elections soon. New presidents often came with huge promises and loads of money so I expect it to be the same this time.

It's reported that Messi cannot stand Bartomeu anymore and that they aren't even speaking to each other, a new president arriving might be enough for him to extend his deal.

Barcelona is probably lucky that no club bar Man City can attract Messi in the current situation, I'd gamble on him staying there.

It is not wise neither from Messi's side nor Man City's to reach a deal.
The best move that Messi can do is in a club in China or Argentina. There is no point in leaving Barcelona for another big club. He cannot stand the pace of those games anymore.
