These three legends really make that style be scary other teams because they fully control the games in 90 minutes. They make no chance for opposite players to do a counter-attack at that time. But with no xavi-iniesta in Barcelona team, there are many chances for a counter-attack, so Tiki-Taka style failed to win the match. If he wanted to make a long term plan in order to reform the club, he should have chosen a coach that has a lot of experience in plans like this one and have a lot of connections to manager's of young players. Setien is not a guy for this kind of plans.

Personally I don't think they can. Whatever Josep Maria Bartomeu says, It's just done to bring confidence in the club and players but is not a guarantee that Quique can't be sacked at any time when need arises and he's far from the kind of manager that would rebuild Barcelona from Ashes.

He is one of the coaches who truly understand the philosophy of Barcelona game in this modern era and his success in the past has made him the best coach for several leagues. Changing coach and some executive that had problem with Messi may will make him stay. But I don't think it can be happens. If they released 12 players and Messi refused to extend his contract next year, maybe Barca need a coach like Rijkaard who can build a strong team from limited player.
