We are still in the mid of the league. There are 17 matchdays to be played. I don't think Real Madrid would be looking to drop a valuable title for maintaining top position in league just now. They last won Copa in 2013/14 season and since then didn't even qualify for the finals. This year their performance is looking promising and can win the title if enough emphasis is given.

there is no easy fixtures for a team such as real madrid.
they get used to have 3 to even 4 match within 8 days , they knew how to handle it as real madrid are a team with good squad depth every year except this year where there is a lot of players flop such as jovic and eden hazard have not show his bet form due the injury.

they can handle it i have no doubt about all of these issues.

atletico madrid will be a big challenge to maintain their pposition at the top.
the score line will not far from 0-0 or 1-0 i guess. it always been a close match.

Barca isn't only. Real Sociedad will play against Osasuna at home. While all other teams will face clubs from lover divisions and there is rule that lover division team must play at home. If two same division teams will face, then draw will be made to decide who will play at home.

Real Madrid must be able to maintain its current position even though the difference of 3 points must still be aware of Barcelona because it will pursue it.

Real Madrid better not drop the ball on this one, they have been following Barça for months now and they are finally one game above, sure Atlhetico is a great team and they can play very well too but at the same time if Madrid loses or even ties that could lead to Barça getting back on top eventually, so they have to take advantage of the momentum they have right now and make it count.

Not like Real Madrid is not capable of that neither, we are talking about Athletico like "they may do anything" but in reality lets face it Real is the real favorites here with potentially even destroying with the amount of talent they have, we are not talking about the biggest possibility, we are talking about the off-chance what could happen here. Real will probably get this like 2-0 or 3-0 if you ask me.
