They're all probably scared.. all of the sudden dozens of people stalking you, on email, phone, facebook, calling your employer, going after your sister, your friends... it must be a tough situation.
Especially if it turns out that the whole thing is legit.
Yeah, I don't think it's right to be contacting people on fb, linkedin, etc or their family/friends/job. I know everyone here is freaking out, but there's a limit.
For the record, I also think a line has been crossed here. I'm not against contacting people to verify their involvement if their names have been openly stated in the official documents, but the aggressive tone with people who are not mentioned directly is too much.
Also, contacting someone's employer is far, far over the line. There is no excuse for it. It should stop.
ahh screw them, I say they deserve every bit of it. We need to get government officials involved maybe Interpol
You people seem like an angry, pitch-fork wielding mob. There's no direct evidence that the Tattis are still involved, and in fact there's no direct evidence that it's a scam at this point - just a lack of evidence that it isn't. Harassing people, or calling the police or employers or whatever is kind of ridiculous at this point. It's not going to make your money suddenly reappear.
Just be patient and wait for actual evidence, one way or another.
How much longer are you willing to wait?
It has been 2 months since the IPO and there have not provided any tangible evidence, just promises that they keep braking. There hasn't been a single promise they didn't break.
Once everyone started screaming about this being a scam, they had 24 hours to prepare for Q&A, and still provided no evidence.
Even if it's not a scam, the 130nm chips are not going to work properly and the 65nm chips are not going to happen anytime soon.
[15:44] <[7]> does that 500th/s plan involve 65nm chips?
[15:44] <[7]> this weird TSMC document suggests they're planning to do 65nm in Q1 2014
...
[15:48] <[7]> I'm confident that the interface circuitry for 65nm will be finalized this year, but I have no idea who's even going to implement the hashing core.
[15:48] <[7]> if they want me to do that, it would take months, and I wouldn't be very confident that it's going to actually work well
[15:48] <[7]> it's a complete redesign from scratch. at least if their plans haven't changed.
While searching for theSeven's quote I found this which I didn't pay notice to earlier, but I believe it has become more relevant now:
[11:05:08 PM] TheSeven: an italian friend of mine, who was a potential investor, said that he/she used the male form of some language constructs, even though the name is clearly female
[11:05:32 PM] TheSeven: we suspected that it was in fact fabrizio chatting on alessia's account
