It's not the end of the Pandemic just because Las Vegas has opened up I think this is the start of their second wave  or the start of another high in people that will be infected, the authorities should be strict in implementing the protocols and they should limit the number of people going inside, hotels should be disinfected for every guest coming in and so are the many restaurants and booths there, they have to spend money because they want to continue their business.

You are right, the subject of this thread gives the wrong impression that Pandemic is over. Opening of casino and other places does not mean that the danger is over.
The corona pandemic will only be over once the vaccine is developed for that. There is no other way to control this pandemic.

Furthermore flights to Las Vegas are already full, and people are coming in large numbers to play out there, hence I’m sincerely praying that no one gets infected while playing out there.

I really thought that vegas will open soon, but I don't expect a lot of people will come and play, that's risking their lives and I don't know why gambling is more important to them than their health.

your expectation fails you already because if you will read again above you will see how people are excited to play again on vegas   .

its not that gambling is more important to them but its the fact that they miss gambling alot but after they get enough playing , thier urge will also calm down later on and we can expect a moderatation on gambling places   .  people do also care with thier healths because it is more important than gambling

Well, since this happened already, let's just hope that it will not help to aggravate the situation USA is currently facing.

More money going to the government but they will just spend it to help the growing number of people infected with the virus, it does not make sense if this move will fail.

I didn't expected that they will open too early. Sad to see that there are others that don't take the pandemic seriously. But to the side of gamblers booking their flights to Vegas, we can feel what they feel so it's understandable.

It seems that some parts in US don't take the corona virus seriously, there are protests everywhere, looting and now this news. They should apply strict precautions for their upcoming gamblers in the premises.

It is unfortunate to hear that gamblers have joined the local casinos, They should be realistic and avoid infection with the virus. Especially the United States of America is going through a difficult time now!!And if the riots and looting continue, we will witness an unprecedented outbreak of the epidemic, the government must develop solutions to avoid risks.

Our stupid, unnecessary moves is going to kill us. For a gambler it's not something that he must do, but still they have to go just because they feel the luxury. No one is safe until we have a vaccine.

Imagine how would one feel if they caught the virus because they were too stupid to go the casino and got infected from there.
We know gamblers attitude mate, specially those addicted gamblers as they can even afford losing all their wealth,Good Jobs,Friends
and even family so what more risking their life just to
sustain their gambling addiction?no we cannot Hide this from them and they will do anything just to let their addiction be fed and
Lets wait what will happens next because of this stupidities .

But for me?Government must not allow this to happen until the vaccine is found ,because knowing this Virus?we have seen how
faster this can spread and how much lives this took from
our family and friends so please,Love yourself and family stop going to such place for now.

This is very sad for everyone, but we can't control other people especially for those people who are dependent on gambling, and for sure one of the ways they are making money is by doing gambling in such casinos, but they should also think their health and alternative on these.
And also, we should also think of those employees of every casino there, not only those gamblers who will go. Not everyone is safe on this kind of event.

The places which failed to contain and control the virus are now moving towards living with virus. What we are already doing with HIV but Covid is much easily transmitted. It's been seen that as people get used to a virus, they would be affected less. The virus would get less severe and people would stop getting afraid of it. It should have been done from the start but coronavirus was exaggerated much more for political cause.

I don't know mate, but I don't think that we can live with the virus, unless there is a vaccine as no one has build immunity for this, so there's no way that we would be less affected by it. So opening Las Vegas will be the biggest test in the US.

As the Mayor has said, let them be the test case and see how it goes. So it looks like her wishes are granted, so let's see if the numbers will multiply in no time in Las Vegas alone. Personally, I'm against it because for obvious reason that we haven't contained the virus yet.

I guess we all knew that Las Vegas casinos were planning to open soon, but how many of you’ll actually thought that they would be opening it so soon? because I’m shocked that they have opened it as the number of corona cases are rising only.

Furthermore flights to Las Vegas are already full, and people are coming in large numbers to play out there, hence I’m sincerely praying that no one gets infected while playing out there.

Though they have set up various safety measures, but I’m not sure what their protocol will be if it’s found that an infected person played out there, will they be forced to shut down their casinos, or will it be business as usual for them?.

Of course Las Vegas will surely open and no one can stop them if the quarantine lifted by the government .
But not this soon because i believe that Gamblers also don't want to risk their Life in playing while there are still pandemic going on.

But with proper safeties and precautions?maybe they will be allowed but for agreement about the health of gamblers.

They wont realize that mistake until they had been infected just because they do go into these crowded places. These kind of movements will surely worsen up the situation even more since people can move freely
outside where the risk of getting infected is much more higher compared when the quarantine is still on effect.

This might sound really very stupid but you an blame out those businesses not to consider on re-opening not only on business or profiting matters but also talks about economic state.
They wont really be allowed or would resume operation if they didnt get any confirmation or pass from government itself.

end of pandemic era? no it doesnt sound like that but actually we are embracing the new system where people should follow up procedures and protocols.

As of gamblers side then its their choice if they would risk to play in exchange of their health safety since they do know on what situation we are into.

Even if the casino are opened, the people and the gamblers should know what is right and what is wrong for them. If people gathered in the casino to play gambling, after hearing this opening news, then we should also blame the people who have no sense about the pandemic seriousness. I will consider the people going to casino equally responsible in spreading the virus .

I’m UK based but I’m glad, we need to start getting back to normal soon. This pandemic has claimed lives but really it’s a tiny, tiny % of the numbers that get infected. We can’t hide away at home forever, economies are collapsing, unemployment numbers are increasing. We need to get back to some kind of normality.

I never heard about any business at all being forced to close because the authorities traced a covid-19 patient back to them. And obviously no business would self-impose such rules.

Ofc a lot of people will get infected, and it's really sad that the US is putting economy and profit ahead of human lives. And people who are going there are really irresponsible, but what can you expect from a country that ridicules people for wearing masks?
