Learning foreign languages is very useful, but it seems to me most effective to learn a language when living in another country and constantly hear how to speak this language.

Nowadays, learning a new language is easy since we have Google and Youtube to start with. You can use google translator and learn online with some educational videos you can see on youtube. There are also some sites where they teach for free. You just need to be patient to find one. Also, you can learn a new language by talking to other people having different languages and ask them politely the translation of it.

For me the best way is to communicate with native speakers and also watch movies in the language that you are studying with subtitles

Learning new specifically new language is very adventurous and enjoy because you're not only gaining new knowledge but also you're gaining new friends with different country. It is good if we're a multilingual so that we can understand each other. If everyone of us knows the different language in every country therefore we can easily socialize with them and we can easily learned their culture.

If you have enough money, travel and stay at a place to learn the local language

I'm considering this to learn Spanish. In fact, I have lots of options, it could be latic american countries or spain.
