I believe that the Italian championship this year will experience the worst year of the last 30 years, a very sad page that will last for a long time. I'm talking about sports betting by professional players. Fagioli has reached an agreement with the prosecutor's office and will be disqualified for around 7 months, Tonali has done even worse, he confessed to having bet on Milan when he himself was still a Milan player, a heavy disqualification of a year or perhaps more is expected and it could open up other complicated scenarios. Another 3 names have come out, El Shaarawy, Gatti and Casale. Last night Mr. Fabrizio Corona had these other 3 names disclosed. so up to now the names of Fagioli, Tonali, Zaniolo, El Shaarawy, Gatti, Casale, Zalewski are known. I now have little doubt that football is the most corrupt sport in the world! Too much money attracts many scoundrels and corrupt people. The true spirit of sport that we are taught since we were children no longer exists

Dont be so pessimistic, I understand very well that you are sad and bitter but it doesnt seem like the worst year to me.

In my opinion, the worst year was when the Moggi and friends scandal occurred. Remember?

That was the worst year for Italian football. The disgust that came out was a lot.

What you say is true, but I don't think it's the worst year.. every year they catch a lot of them even in the minor leagues
the thing I don't understand, they already get a lot of money in salary, does it make sense to get disgraced for a few pennies? meh

a few evenings ago I saw a report on TV from "Le Iene" which interviewed two former Serie A players Gervasoni and Beppe Signori who were investigated for illegal betting and for having fixed matches, Gervasoni said that he fixed a dozen Serie A matches, every match fixed made him earn at least 400,000 euros, you understand that it's not exactly pennies but a large amount of money, every match still had at least 2 or 3 accomplices, because a single player cannot succeed in altering the result of a match, and I am convinced that all this still happens in Serie A. the comparison with current history is different but if they dig deep they will find a lot of shit. I'll give you an example but I'm not accusing anyone, didn't it seem strange to you that a couple of matches ago 'Did the Juventus player Gatti score a sensational own goal? Maybe it had nothing to do with it but I found it strange and now it seems even stranger to me

Whatever happens to Pogba, don't forget that the French midfielder was once considered a true star. At 30 and after a long period of struggling with injuries, this scandal means that Pogba's career will end. He could face a ban of up to 4 years and the possibility of his contract being terminated by Juventus. I don't know what tomorrow will bring, but what is happening makes him sad. Even though this was his fault, there was still some reason that brought him to this situation. I hope he will find his smile again and return to the field soon, but it will take time.

It could have been the team that pushed him, in which case they have to punish the team heavily.
When you are a champion you want to remain one forever, in fact I remember seeing a documentary on the well-founded accusation of doping against the Trentino marathon runner, he felt that as he got older it became increasingly difficult to stay at the top and therefore he started doping.

I think Pogba doping case seems to have the aim of staying fit, and I think not to stay champion. Because after all, basically Pogba only had a good career at Juventus at that time, until finally Pogba returned to play for Manchester United, but I think Pogba failed to maintain his great performance at Manchester United. So yes, that's why I think Pogba use of doping is not to remain champion because basically Pogba has failed. But yes, regarding this problem then of course there is nothing more that can be expected from Pogba. Because at the same time, Pogba still has to try to recover from his injury and also, Pogba has a doping case like this, so of course a case like this will end his career as a football player.

There are various causes that push a champion to become a doped champion
sport today is extremely competitive and if you want to stay at the top at all costs you resort to doping, many do this as soon as they see their physical performance decline due to age and injuries

is a human's behavior

Football As a leading sport, football has a strict doping testing policy to ensure no team or player gains an advantage from using stimulants.
This theory could be true, and I don't think Pogba is stupid enough to be involved in doping. Why doesn't he take his predecessors as lessons, like MARADONA? There was some pressure on him to use it. The truth behind the curtain is challenging to peel away. Either His injury caused a lot of pain, so he turned to doping to forget the pain, and Pogba could play better thanks to doping. It's unfortunate that his career has fallen into this situation. Either way, he must be punished by the law to set an example for the next generation.

Exactly, the punishment must be given to make it clear that we must play honestly and cleanly. Otherwise it doesn`t make much sense.
There are sports where doping is a common practice and I really don`t want to watch sports where people take drugs to get better.
This should make both teams and players understand that no one likes doped players.

Technically I like your picks. On paper all of them are logical choices. I can list the reasons like this:

- Inter have lost some momentum on the recent a couple of weeks by losing some points. To regain momentum I see this game as an opportunity. Because Torino are out-of-form lately.
- Napoli couldn't start the season very well I'm afraid. Rudi Garcia is making an effort create a strong bond with the team to bring back their strong look. This Verona game is a big chance to atone for the Fiorentina loss too.
- Roma have been the worst one among these top teams until now. But the recent two wins are helping them rise again. They just need to be careful against Monza as Monza haven't lost for a while.

All of these top teams should be winning in fact. However I feel like one of these bets would make the bettor have a really stressful time while following it. I just can't find that one.  Sad

On paper these are the teams that, according to everyone, should win these matches, unfortunately, however, any turnover made by the coaches will also have to be taken into account given that many players are busy with their respective national teams, for example Inter will most likely have to do unless Lautaro Martinez is expected to start as he will return to Milan 48 hours before the match. Napoli will have a luxury absentee, Osimhen is injured and will not be present in the match against Verona. Roma, however, have absent Pellegrini and Dybala and hope that other national team players do not suffer injuries. I confirm my bet, I won't bet big sums and let's hope for the best

unfortunately I think just like you, if everything is confirmed, for Paul Pogba it would mean the end of his sporting career, he could return to play more or less at 34 years old and with a long period of hiatus it will be difficult to finda team ready to invest in him.I'm very sorry for him because I liked him a lot as a player, but mistakes are paid for and sometimes at a high price.

I am obviously very sorry for Pogba, but be careful to say that he was forced by Juventus, they have been a different team for years now and avoid certain practices to the detriment of the players!

Some financial stupidity has been done, but this is because it is full of debts caused by the COVID period, and for this Juventus paid.

I don't think that Juventus will be involved in this affair, for me it is and must be seen as an injured party in this affair, personally I am not comparing it to the old Juventus club, that of Moggi, Agricola and Giraudo, here the situation is different! It's Pogba who willingly or unwillingly chose to take that type of drug. It's a shame because he risks a lot and his career is now in a declining phase

I was checking out the next matches scheduled after the break for the European qualifiers, I saw good odds and I put down a draft bet.

Torino vs Inter, Inter's victory is given at 1.77, a good odds considering that Inter are playing away and you can't afford any more missteps in the league and will try to overtake Milan who will be involved in the big match against Juventus .

Verona vs Napoli, Napoli's away win is 1.52 and I honestly would have expected a slightly higher odds given Napoli's recent less than satisfactory results but I am convinced that Napoli will be able to win.

Roma vs Monza, Roma's victory is 1.66 and I think it's a fair odds, Roma can beat Monza but they have to do without some key players like Pellegrini and Dybala. these are my choices but there will be time to change your mind, what would you change about these predictions?

I really advise you against putting Napoli in your bet, they don't seem to be in a good place, a team that in my opinion is broken at the moment
who is losing a lot of games and points
I wouldn't take Napoli's victory for granted, he was angry but also demoralized

Given Napoli's performance in the last few matches and the probable absence of Osimhen in the next match, I would say that betting on Napoli's victory will be a big risk, in fact I have currently only made a draft bet but I haven't validated it yet, I think I will orient myself on over 1.5 even if it will cause the winnings to drop. There is still time to decide and I will do so in the next few days. In any case, Verona is also not in good shape for the moment

I think we should look at both teams before making the right decision on the bet we make. So far, Verona has also performed quite badly in Serie A where Baroni men have not recorded a win in their last 5 matches in Serie A. Verona is getting closer to the relegation zone in the standings table. so if they fail to get points again, maybe they will drop into the relegation zone in next week.

Even though napoli have not been consistent this season, I think they will be able to achieve maximum results when they visit verona headquarters. Apart from that, Napoli is aiming for a top 4 place next week. I'm sure they will try well to get 3 points in the match against Napoli.

Pogba must have known the consequences of his actions before doing that. His career was already not going on well due to getting injured very often. He wasn't so much different than Eden Hazard for a long time. I wouldn't have become surprised if Pogba also decided to retire before all this happened.

He chose to take a huge and unnecessary risk like this instead and this must have brought the end of his career for sure.

By the way there have been many cases such as illegal betting in Italy too lately. I wonder if this will affect the national team negatively also.

It`s a very bad way to end your career, I don`t feel sorry for Pogba, because whoever cheats has to pay. I can`t stand those who cheat and don`t respect the rules.

I also hope they give him a nice hefty fine. If he decided to make this choice on his own, the team will also fine the team if he pushed him.

It seems that yet another football betting scandal is breaking out in Serie A, fortunately (or perhaps not) it only concerns the players and no sports manager is under investigation, only some of the names of the players are known, Tonali Zaniolo and Zalewski, but it seems that in total there should be 10 players. However, I personally believe that Fabrizio Corona's words should be taken with a pinch of salt as I consider him unreliable. Let's wait for the situation to evolve. For the moment I believe that Newcastle can consider themselves as the injured party given the huge financial outlay made this summer. for the purchase of Tonali from Milan
