Metawin.com - Truly the best casino ever
I am just kind of curious how legalized gambling is coming along in whatever part of the world you live in?  I'm from Illinois in the United States and we just recently legalized many forms of gambling.  It's progressing pretty quickly too.  I'm hearing a lot of radio ads, seeing ads on TV for different sports books and what not etc.  I see this as great progress.  Free will is something we all deserve and though I know gambling can cause serious addiction etc, that shouldn't be up to our governments to decide whether we should be allowed to do it or not.

So I ask you, how is it coming along where you live?  Is it fully legal, coming close to being legal, or illegal with no change in sight?
I live in a country where gambling is fully legalized and I'm in a country where usually the gambling companies hire the top marketers/developers.
Okay, local websites are fully conquered by gambling companies, on every website you'll see a banner of casino. There are constantly casino advertisements in TVs and you'll see some in streets (at past there were a lot of banners but then the government decided to put limit and prohibit banners near to school, church, etc).
Casinos are making the most profit in this country. The highest percentage of our society gambles, almost every male teen and adult gambles, sportsbooks and slots are very, very popular there.
Why the highest percentage of the society gambles? Because people here are very lazy and men don't work. But women are emigrants in rich countries and work very hard to feed their families in our country. Men just smoke weed, gamble and have sex. For someone it may sound like a dream Cheesy Yeah, that's really true but young generation is very different from 30-40+ people.

Seems our government wasn't that open yet on any kind of gambling here and besides there are some who doesn't want to register and more on the illegality and I think the government need to combat that in the first place. I doubt gambling right now may prosper since the current administration isn't a fan of it, I'd say it will be in a neutral state until a new administration comes along.

In Serbia, it's fully legal... there are many casinos around, to not say on every corner, but there are many! From recently (not more than 3-4 years) many of them have their online versions! They have advertisements almost everywhere... offering deposit bonuses, cashback, and all other cool stuff! Something I knew from crypto gambling, I didn't have experience with online casinos before crypto! I still didn't try any of them, I will stick with crypto! Smiley

What country if you do not mind me asking lets to get off the hook for operating a illegal gambling website? AFAIK you cannot get a permit if it is illegal in that state because the people who give the permits will check where the business is located and where it is offering a service to. Even if the company and the servers of the website are located in another country where gambling is legal it is still illegal to offer gambling services to states that have made it illegal.
It's the Philippines, the illegal gambling industry here is big, one president was even impeached because they're involved in the protection of a big illegal gambling syndicate.

I can say that it's legal here and it is pretty open since I think the gambling in my country has some good effect in the government but there are some illegal gambling sites which the government is trying to eliminate but still there still a lot of illegal gambling here in my country. I'm still lucky since the government is not that strict about gambling.

From your question, points for online gambling sites in my country, last point.

or illegal with no change in sight?

You can see here: online gambling laws and regulations in my area.

Best 37 Online Casinos in Indonesia

This means that all forms of gambling in Indonesia are completely illegal. There isn’t as much as a single poker room, race track, or slot machine present in the country. At least, not in any legal form.

The truth is, Indonesia has over 250,000,000 citizens, and many of them love to gamble. This is especially true in the Internet era.

Conclusion: from 37 online gambling sites, there is not one legal decision that leads to official and prohibition, you access and you play.

And here there are hundreds more online gambling sites, whose laws are the same and continue to be used by many people.

Offline casinos are prohibited in my country.  There are several territories where they are legal, but these territories are located in hard-to-reach places.

Slot machines are also banned in public places.  This is due to the fact that previously this activity was not regulated in any way.  There were slot machines in the metro and at the entrance to grocery stores.  The pensioners did not have the opportunity to buy food for themselves.  They lost their pension and a small financial aid from their grandchildren in slot machines.

Government lotteries are legal in my country.

Online casinos are not controlled because they are located in the virtual space, and the servers are located on the territory of foreign countries.

Just like the others it's also legal but there's a bit of downside when it comes to online gambling, specifically in the perspective of the casino operators it's somewhat discouraging since they're not allowed to accept players locally. On the gambler side of things there's no downside aside from casinos that have geo restrictions. As of now i'm satisfied with the current state of gambling here in our country since online gambling is pretty much free as it gets and hopefully it doesn't change.

yeah it's legal for many years now but still not bringing any positive views from correct perspective , Only Media says it well but the
people around this circle is not that contented .
there are no even benefits from the government and from the operators, meaning they are only bagging gamblers money but not giving in return.

Well, in my country here is the status regarding gambling casino operation. [ https://www.legalonlinecasinos.ph/ ]
We are glad that our government did not strict on the online casino as long as it is regulated and it has a license to operate.
Perhaps they know that they can get profit by collecting tax and it could increase the tax revenue to help the economic growth which is until now we are recovering the lost fund due to the pandemic. As long as it is in a regulated way, there is no reason they will prohibit people to gamble.

Agree it is a win win situation since the government is earning tax from it and the gambling industry are the top 3 biggest paying taxes in that country which really big boost to the economy. We should only talk to good side to this since big taxes could make a lot of jobs and also the economy is good. They are also searching for those illegal ones since they don't have papers to operate. Most of the Chinese will be in that country and invest in casino since it is legal.

It's legal in my country and also hear some ads of it on the radio only not actaully on TV, they still seriously regulate not making kids see how adults are being persuaded to gamble.
Kids today don't listen to radio which I guess they prefer to advertise on radio stations and along with these ads are warning about gambling as well like doing it moderately and not engage in gambling when you are intoxicated or depressed.

1xBit.. recovered their reputation
In our country, the government actually supports casinos and lotteries here because they're gaining benefits through taxes that they could get from their taxes. It's legally being advertised on our local television network. That's one of the reasons why lots of people are getting addicted to gambling here. What lacks here is enough information and proper education on how to get rid of gambling addiction.
I come from Indonesia, my country is strong enough to uphold the values that exist in religion, so until now the legality of gambling does not exist here

I'm sure if my country legalized gambling then there will be more gambling addicts here than there are in your country and it will definitely be a very complicated problem

at this time I am still safe playing crypto online gambling without any government intervention even though here gambling is illegal and I think it is better as it is now

Where I live gambling is completely legal not only online but I can also be gambling in a casino in 15 minutes if I want, personally I prefer it this way, banning gambling only helps organized crime to get the industry for almost nothing and get incredible profits as they can fix the games and never pay the winners, this is similar to what happened during the prohibition era in which selling alcohol was made illegal and then the mafia got control of a industry that paid taxes, converted it in a huge problem for the police and then formed an empire out of it.

Yes but with alcohol you do at least have some logistical burdens to overcome, namely you have to get the product into the hands of the consumer. With online gambling authorities know there is literally no way to ever fully stop those businesses. They just register in Cayman Islands, get some server up and running where authorities can't intervene and there you go. Legalization is pretty much the only way to get a slight control over the sector and the profits / due taxes.

In Nigeria I don't think the government has turned her eyes to gambling yet. I think there is just regulation by some body or individual body though recognised in the country but I don't know yet if government has made public statement about gambling like it has made with twitter or cryptocurrency. The gambling outfit in Nigeria is soccer with series of companies running on it like bet9ja, betking , etc. As to legalizing for now I don't know how that has gone, there are warning for under 18 years not to indulge in gambling however.

In my country, every gambling form could become legal as long as it's registered to operate and secure all necessary documents to make everything legal. Still, there are a lot of illegal form of gambling hiding around the corner, but the authorities are just too lazy to catch these people, thus illegal activities like these are so rampant in all regions.
Gambling involves huge taxation that's why the government hates it when a gambling business isn't registered.

I'm glad that here in our country gambling is legal as long as the gambling operator has a license to operate, there's lottery betting run by the government but you need a franchise to run your own lottery betting, there's horse racing it's managed by the multi corporation and there's cock fighting, there's different gambling here as long as the operators are licensed to operate, there's gambling for the poor and there are for the rich one, I like betting in the lottery and Keno games here in our country, it only cost $0.40 per ticket.

Running a gambling business is illegal in my county although there are nightclubs or bar that have such gambling facility for their visitor . when the police conduct raids they just will get a fine. but if just use an online casino,it's still safe if it's only for personal use and only for your own entertainment even some popular youtuber and instagram influencer in my country promoting some casino .
