Following libra we can expect lot many large scale firms like Facebook to come up with their own cryptocurrency with different accessibility. Maybe to that entire list of coins that'll strike the market in the future libra might get to be the king as it will be the most used one with the increasd users because of its backing by Facebook authority which has a strong userbase.
This sounds so funny, how will you say a centralized upcoming cryptocurrency is the new king? Have you lost it? Do you understand what crypto is all about? Do you think there can ever be a replacement for the pace setter which is Bitcoin? Let me quickly draw your attention that, no bitcoin, no crypto, no blockchain technology. So let's stop such farfetched comparisons.
Libra is nowhere a crypto king, that title is solemnly reserved for bitcoin. The advantage libra has over other cryptocurrencies is the Facebook platform which will be used to promote it extensively and huge investors that will back it.

I completely agree. Without the support of the crypto community, the Libra Coin will not be able to reach the planned levels, and housewives and simple hard workers will use the libra only as a means of payment.

Yes, somehow strange, this is all the king was and will be only Bitcoin and which pulls all the other coins along. but the fact that they are now coming up and transfusing it is not what I would like. A few good coins are needed and not much trash.
I think it's all a lie. Because it’s better than a bitcoin king. And no new coins can compete with him. I believe in cryptocurrency namely in Bitcoin.
Funny enough we have seen several KINGS announced in the cryptosphere and yet all of them died in a very short time. BTC is the king of all cryptocurrencies and nothing can beat this.

The popularity of facebook on social media definitely putting some energy on its Libra coin. Also, the timing of creating Libra is great while the market is on the bullish period. It has been introduced well in the cryptocurrency. Despite of the good news about Libra, it has to prove its worth first before it can be the king.
We cant predict now, but we can say LIBRA can have a good effect on cryptocurrency. The King is always belongs to Bitcoin.

Too early to tell that Libra as the new king of cryptocurrency. The popularity of Libra even before its hasn't been launched is due to the hype made bt facebook itself.
Yeah sure.... the so called FB Coin (Now renamed as Libracoin) enjoys the support of dozens of industry giants. But even then, Bitcoin is going to beat this shitcoin in terms of acceptability and usage. Mark my words, and you read it first here. Libracoin is going to be the first major failure for Mark Zuckerberg and his banker friends. He is about to understand how much ordinary people matter.
If Facebook really wants to contribute to the world creating a global crypto currency, they should move away from US and get based in some neutral European country.
But again US may ban Facebook and Facebook can't afford to lose the highest revenue source. So, I don't think this libra project would get any motion unless US security agencies would be given a passage to spy on every of the coin users.

Most likely is going to impact on the crypto market and make a whole lot of difference in the crypto space but it doesn't mean it won't be hit by the wave of the crypto market, there are a lot of good projects already, I am not overtly anticipating huge from this project but I expect it to hit the first 50 on coinmarketcap and subsequent developments will determine if it will go higher or drop further
In my opinion, Libra will have a significant impact on the development of the crypto community, as with its help more than 1,7 billion Facebook users from all over the world will become familiar with the functioning mechanism of cryptocurrencies, stop being afraid of them, and may begin to invest in traditional cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and other altcoins.
So far we have really seen little, of course, the whitepaper of Libra is impressive, but we all know that Bitcoin is number one in the cryptocurrency world, we need to wait for a while to look at the possibilities and technologies of Libra.
I strongly disagree with the title of this thread i mean you can call libra, the fb coin, as the upcoming king of stable of fiat backed coins but it cannot be crypto king, crypto king is the one and only bitcoin.
