Any news on Avalon on whether there will be delays or on schedule?
I understand, but I hope steamboat honors the original order ranking as he stated previously. Even if most of the orders are from other batches, 20-30 position differences can make a day or two difference and as much as I hate the adage... time is money when dealing with bitcoin.
As was stated originally, Chip purchase and assembly purchase queues are handled separately and apart from one another. Each batch will be processed completely before the next batch begins. It is very unlikely batches will arrive together.

If you would like to change your shipping address, the best way would be option one as you have described. Send a change request containing a signed message using the sending address from the transaction. Once approved, create the assembly purchase using the new shipping address.
Update: Batch 6 ordered.
Avalon isn't showing out of stock on the chips anymore. At least they let me add it to my basket and click the checkout button.

I read somewhere that he is assembling hundreds per day.. are you seriously stressing for 20 positions?

If everything goes right the assembly house will knock out far more than that in one day.
1. Bronchitus is a big deal, rest is imperative. I went through two bouts in succession in 2009/10. Asthmanex helped immensely.
2. I thought that orders were assembled/shipped based on a FIFO queue based on the chip orders. Has this changed to be based on assembly orders? If so, I move from 5th in line to 132nd.

I think you're going to be fine. I'm in batch 5 and have an order in the early 20s. As much as I'd like to get my shipment sooner, it doesn't mean I get to jump ahead.
