If so that is great news. I was budgeting closer to $100 per board, looks like I'll be buying more chips...

I totally agree but I just wanted a cost analysis.
Honestly, I would prefer 4 x K16 over a K64 for redundancy purposes.
I agree with this as well. The cost savings from having four boards paneled does not equal the expense of replacing/repairing 4 boards in the event of a failure. That being said, once we get closer to the Fab date, with working prototypes being burned, The K64 will be revisited.
The K1 is still there as well. I'm deciding on the best way to approach the manufacturer about this.
