Steamboat I have 40 chips from you from batch 2 - if I'm looking to get a K64 done is it best I order another 24 from current batch or will you sell 24 to round up during production?
I will only round up/down in multiples of 16. This is to prevent abuse, and limit the amount of chips spent from my personal purchase. I have a feeling even this is going to be abused, as some are ordering two or three chips more than a full board.
Do you have an idea of the cost for 'hosted' chips and/or boards? Do you also assemble the boards? Being in S. Florida along with you, I feel you are my best connection for this (instead of another country for sure!).

The cost for the boards is the same as it is for assembly of shipped miners. The hosting will be based on a percentage of the revenue generated from the chip. The number is looking like 8%, plus electricity. This is not etched in stone as I still have to do the math, but I believe it's low enough to give miners a respectable ROI target, and still cover the expenses associated with setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, overhead, etc etc.

Not sure about others but I did this to have a few spares to replace dead ones (ordered 32 in round 1 and 34 in round 3, planning for 32 in assembly and 2 loose chips for repairs or K1s). Did I break a rule?
No, and that's very wise to do. I hadn't thought people may be purchasing extras just in case.
