added premine information to NVC - i knew it from the beginning but wanted to stay neutral. now that premine is officialy stated by devs, I don't see a reason not to have this info.
These coins was destroyed by the hands of BTC-E administration, by sending it to invalid address:

There are only one "problem" - difficulty is high and growing.

I believe it is the only problem for You . I have great ISP, I'm close to Russia, i have a lot of hashpower.
impossible to mine.
even 20 hours ago, with lower diff and 9 connections, i was finding blocks one by one, but all rejected for no reason, not stales.

I have no idea why only in russia blocks are not rejected.

OP minor edit :

added "NVC " to novacoin name

/edit:

today's third major change.. bussy day

posted mining solution in original English NovaCoin thread

so NVC is back amongst living. OP edited

Were did you get that information from?
Maybe you're confusing it with Freicoin's 80% through foundation grants, 20% for miners?
This is what I know about Ripples initial distribution: https://ripple.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=13

exactly! this is also what I know, and this is nothing.

no, I did not confused it with freicoin, info taken from   TradeFortress and confimed by one of devs - JoelKatz

Ripples (XRP) - ripple.com , no mining - all coins available at start 80% foundation and 20% develeopers , beta phase.

I asked on irc and they said they don't plan to reset the ledger unless they find a serious bug that requires it before launch, which they don't expect. It seems they're giving them away to whoever asks for them.

RuCoin is twice on the list, as dead and as new - is it the same blockchain ?

major changes:

added not-acoin-list

NOT A COIN /  NEVER FULLY LAUNCHED:

-DigiCash - historical try for digital curency by David Chaum, failed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DigiCash
e-cash and e-money are part of / continuation of  digicash . Possibly where Bitcoin came from.
Ripples (XRP) - ripple.com , no mining - all coins available at start 80% foundation and 20% develeopers , beta phase.
Amazon Coin - centralized private scrip launched by Amazon and pegged to USD, not cryptographic at all, just a name.
WEEDS never realy active and now dead - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.300830
Groupcoin - still alive but never realy active  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/50-btc-total-bounty-for-groupcoin-development-and-help-24813

added NovaCoin

NovaCoin   scrypt hashing[like LTC] , proof of stake [like PPC]

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-official-novacoin-thread-the-original-posscrypt-coin-pool-list-143221
difficulty adjustment each block, hashing algorithm scrypt

minor changes:

new rucoin description and info - " both scrypt[like LTC] and sha256d   "
difficulty adjustment 72 blocks, hashing algorithm SHA-256d and scrypt, Reward 50 coins per block coin twice on the list, as dead and as new - its the same blockchain ?

changed PPC description - was " Incorporates Proof Of Stake coin Generation" now "Proof Of Stake [very innovative, low energy ]"
new FRC description - "still kicking, might be back."

xorxor, I think you are doing very useful work by maintaing this list.

I'm posting here to try to convince you that "negative knowledge" is also valuable. The main value of it is by cutting through the misinformation, no matter whether the misinformation is intentional (propaganda) or not.

It may be worthwhile to extend your list with "known not cryptocurrencies" and add one paragraph each summary explaining why the particular offering shouldn't be considered a legitimate cryptocurrency. I don't think it is worthwhile to get involved into long discussions why something is put on the "not list", just state a brief synopsis of an argument.

Eg: "Amazon Coin" - centralized private scrip launched by Amazon and pegged to USD, possibly used "coin" in the name to placate those who persistently kept asking Amazon customer support to be able to pay in "bit coin".

Thanks again.

AWESOME  idea, I'll have a lot of work tonight , preparing the not-a-coin-list

so ripple doesnt exist YET, but MAY be a cryptocoin when is launched.  ok, thank you for explaining.  i just do not possess the resources to deeply investigate every cryptocoin , i do what i can and wait for people like You to correct me. thx again. no change to list for now.

Yes, that's right: it doesn't exist yet. So probably it doesn't belong to the list yet.
Sorry if I sounded too tough.

ok so ripple is not opensource, only java cilent is, its company issued credit, not opensource crypto coin. doesn't belong in here at all.

No java at all, I said javascript. The C++ server is not released YET. Obviously, this kind of project must be distributed as free software or it would be doomed. You can check the wiki now, but the main page is saying "no one controls ripple" for some time now. That implies it will be free software. Also Ryan Fugger said so at the old ripple mailing list. You don't seem to have read any of the published information, I'm curious, How do you know Ripple exists at all?

changes:

FRC moved to "dying" as mining stopped.

Mining hasn't stopped. Blocks are still being found.

You are right, "stopped" was just easier to write than some long explaining why hashrate is to slow to consider coin healthy.
I'm wathing the frc thread, it is not dead, its dying. no new projects, no exchange, drasticly low hashrate - dying.
of course if I get more response to keep frc amongst living, I will do that against my opinion.

There's a web for submitting grant proposals on the making. Although maaku has stopped working on his exchange, zapto is testing its own and doublec is working on a bitparking. Other people (like me) are actively looking for potential grantees. We have weekly meetings. No, it's not dying.

should XRC be back on the list?

i understand it should be like that:

XRC - ripple - 100% mining is done by them and 100% new coins issued goes to devs.
XRC - ripple - http://www.ripple.com/

sounds to fishy to be truth, can someone smart check the code?

That's not accurate.
The server hasn't been released yet so we can't read the code, but you can read the javascript web client code at:
https://github.com/rippleFoundation/ripple-client

The new Ripple has no mining. They could still distribute it through proof of work, but that would be a complete waste of resources (as it would have been for freicoin, the way I see it). They plan to distribute the coins to as many unique people as they can (not sure how), so no, it's not going to devs. I don't know their business model but must be something else.

How is it possible to have a chain without mining? You can read the original proposal here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-without-mining-10193

I was told their wiki will be opened soon, but I got no further details on that. Maybe you should wait for that before including xrp in the wiki.
You can always ask them on #ripple channel at freenode. Or here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/hiring-c-and-js-programmers-108782

EDIT: It seems the beta and the wiki are open now.
