To register a token on an exchange there is indeed time. And usually, the ICO Team provides information when the token will enter the Exchange. And information about exchanges is usually very long, all depends on the performance of the Team. If you have a good team and the project can continue to grow, the process will be fast.

If they see the team can pay the fee for getting their coin listed, they should also be looking for the community of the project because if the exchange only sees the huge fees for getting it listed, they will soon suffer when there is no trading volume to this coin. It would be a complete waste for both the team and exchange in the end. Chances is that the coin will be delisted.

Overall the best ICO’s to invest in 2019, depends on what your preferences are in terms of ideas, teams, and uniqueness. You can invest in your passion, or on speculation of fundamentals that a particular idea will be well received by the public thus cashing in on a profit.

Anyone know how long usually it takes for ICO projects to list their tokens on an exchange? Is it different with other exchanges?
Exchange makes it easier for you to make crypto transactions, such as trading from fiat to crypto.
You can trade and invest in crypto through exchange, you can choose an exchange according to your token, if the highest price is in a decentralized exchange, you can trade in that place. Every token also have different exchange and different time for there token listed, it depend on the project hype.

I have observed that most ICOs take almost an average of 3 months now to get their tokens listed on exchanges. Some of them are just unnecessarily greedy and wouldn't want to spend the ICO funds to list the token on good exchanges.

There are many reasons for listing of some token:
  • Reputation of a developer team;
  • Project success;
  • Soft cap/ hard cap was reached or not.

It may depend on the exchange also. I know a good project and it could not access for one exchange for very long.
Since the name token consisted of two characters.

Now a lot of projects are specially demanding the withdrawal of their tokens to the exchanges, for the reason that the market is not very attractive now!

Listing is one of the main parts of cryptocurrency, without listing there will be neither volume, nor sales, nor price.

I think this depends on the members of the team behind the project. They choose the best time for them to get listed after all arrangements have been made

Listing on exchanges should accur once product is launched.
In other case there is no need to do early listing.
Price is dumped in this case!

It is often based on their roadmap to grow. Before investing in any ICO project, look at their roadmap and evaluate what their promises are. If they are doing well as planned, that would be a sign of a good project.

It all depends on the project and his team. But the last time I would say that it began to take a very long time, especially against the backdrop of a falling market!
dev team has their opinion why postponed listing to exchange, especially in bearish market like current condition.the most important thing was they want to protect their investor from dumping.

Team need to pay listing fee and it max takes 24 hour
There are some free listing exchanges as well where investor can also submit that ico for listing.
How long time needed to list the coin depends on the agreement between the team and exchange site.  Most of the free listing exchange site doesn't have a lot of volume compared to the paid to listing exchange site. this will give a lot of impact to the demand of coin.

To be honest, listing of tokens on exchange platform/s is/are depends on the ICO development team. If they are planning to do it after their ICO concluded then the token holders must be patient to wait for the listing so that they can trader theirs. Actually, listing is not easy and fast as others are thinking, there are so many process that a ICO development team and the exchange management team to be considered before the official listing of token/s.

In the current realities of the market, very few projects are entering the exchange, many are pulling with this, because entering such a market can hit the project hard, because the price will fall 100% down. Nevertheless, there are exceptions, for example, the project XYO which has increased in price over the past few weeks by 140%.
But xyo is not a new project. And it fallen before, so do not compare old projects with current ICOs which want to get listed even at idex.

It all depends on the project team. I know very good projects that started preparing for listing even during ico. Chepez month after the end of the coin was on the exchange of the top 20. And there are disgusting projects that have not been flooded on the exchange for half a year.

It depends on the exchange and the development team. Many projects now specifically do not go to the exchange so that the price does not fall sharply, the developers continue to work and wait for a bull's trend.
this throws many investors off the market. I just don’t understand why projects don’t pay to the bounty hunters? After all, they do not pay in dollars or bitcoins, but in their tokens with no price...ok, they can wait and do not make any listings, but you have to pay to people

Many new exchanges now provide very attractive listing conditions, for example, TowerBee Exchange - a new exchange that has recently started its operation - offers to receive a listing for a very small reward - no more than 30 eth. I think this is a very good suggestion for new projects.
