Id say half the startups offering btc would do ltc.. Prob where that figure comes from
But there were only around 300.000.000$ VC invested in BTC startups. So even calculating 1/2 of this to the LTC marketcap wont help to come up with the proposed number of 1 billion $$$$$$. Litecoin has over a billion US dollars invested in it.

Hoped much when i head they joined multi pool with other coin but from that i haven't heard anything new.

What Litecoin offers? just a clone nothing else.
The only thing going for it is that most regular people recognize Litecoin when they see it.
Of course LTC is not dead, but longtime potential is unfortuantely rather small :/
Not dead yes but he is more on his own now.
Followed price change on btc last few days and price didnt influence on ltc.
Dont now but seem like more and more now that ltc will be just another coin in this.
